Ward for president: Fundamentals

Day 1,432, 03:26 Published in Belgium Belgium by Ward De Bever

Dear citizens,

The Belgian political process is at an impasse.

Here is our proposal on how to move out of it:

Since many Belgians agree not to agree with forum laws and institutions, let's start with considering them void. This cancels lots of hard work and tradition but, as center-wing anarchists, we will replace this with a cooperative vision.

The campaign program will be a set of directives that the CP promises to carry out in-game or in real life. Forum activity will continue, but limited to discussion and evaluation of these directives. Vote threads can still be held there as opinion polls.

If the population agrees with these proposed directives, they will vote for them. The directives are formal pledges that, if elected, I will carry out in full. The democratic validity is that people would vote for (or against) them in the CP election, and Congress can still impeach in-game if the directives are not carried out as promised.

The practical directives will be proposed in the next three articles on military, economic and social themes.

We want to offer a way forward with Belgium! - for Belgium with Ward (got the pun?)

With love for all
