War Over France

The epic saga over France continues. Poland are slowly losing grip after Canada decided to help out USA and France, but with Serbia and Slovenia about the get involved, this war is getting more interesting.

Countries Involved

Poland recently invaded France, taking many regions, which looked as if they put little effort into the job. They reached the USA's regions in France and decided to try to cut off USA's resources by taking some of their regions. This attack on France has been going on for 2 weeks now. Poland are still managing to keep those regions, and USA are having close fights with Poland now.


Slovenia got involved one week ago, when they attacked Germany, who was also holding some French regions. Slovenia did not break through as quickly as Poland could have as a majority of ONE's troops were focused on Poland's battles. But this was equally as important. Slovenia is holding onto 3 regions in France at the moment.


France is the not-so-innocent victim of this war. They have attacked many neighbouring countries over the past few months, including the United Kingdom. They haven't been able to stop Poland’s invasion and will just be watching this war while starting Resistance Wars.


USA has held onto French regions for a while, giving them a few resource bonuses which bring them up to 100% in both food and weapons. They are possibly the strongest country in this war, except Poland, and are fighting with them to keep the bonuses.


Canada has recently entered this war, to help the USA and France fight off the invaders, and have had success. At the moment they have 2 regions in France, which they will probably keep until France can get their country back. A good thing for the United Kingdom is that we won’t be invaded by them, but we will have to help Poland a lot more.


Germany have been holding onto some French regions as well. They came in when Hungary attacked France and have been there since. Germany are not a very strong country but were fighting with Slovenia, to give USA some breathing room. Germany may soon be out of this battling in France.


Serbia may soon enter the wars over France. This country took the island of Sardinia and could be fighting USA soon. If they invade, this will be one of the biggest wars for a while.


Spain is voting to set their NE to Canada. This could distract Canada, possibly making them withdraw from France. This will give Poland a big boost and will be fighting on fewer fronts. We shall see what happens with Spain.
Last Few Days
The last few days in France have seen some changes, many countries have been getting involved and the war has gone mad.

On June the 18th, Poland had control of almost the whole of northern France. USA did have Lower Normandy though, which meant more fighting for Poland. France only had control of one region, which is not very good for them. Germany had recently been removed from France by Slovenia, which meant that Slovenia had control of two regions, and only had to take one from France until they would also be fighting USA. USA are not looking good and do not have many regions left.


By June the 19th, the USA had lost Aquitaine and Lower Normandy. This meant that they had had many resources cut off, stopping their 100%/100% bonus. This was great news for Poland. They also managed to fight off French Resistance Wars. Slovenia hasn’t gained any new regions yet.


June 20th, and Canada have entered the war. They took Pays da la Loire from Poland, meaning that Poland have another front to fight on. Poland may have lost a region to Canada, but they took one from the USA, Limousin. The most important news is the wiping of France. France is off the map! Slovenia took France's final region. France are unlikely to return to the map any time soon as the war over France is still raging.


Today, Canada has grown. They took another region from Poland, while Poland was fighting against USA and France. Slovenia are not yet striking again but we are expecting crazy things to come as Spain have proposed to NE Canada. Canada are unlikely to withdraw, but may ask for help from any allies who are not fighting already.
What Will The eUK Do?
Talks are ongoing within Congress and the Congress is looking at what to do. There are a few things which could go on, as Spain has recently proposed to NE Canada. The eUK saw a rogue proposal from a Congressman wanting to NE Canada, which wont be passed, but time will tell what the eUK does.
