War In France Again? Get Ready

Day 1,755, 10:57 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by HebronGazelle

France has broken the treaty with Poland and war is about to break out again. Poland, Spain and Macedonia have proposed France as Natural Enemy, and as all look as if they will pass. Is this going to be a future wipe for the UK, or will we stay out as long as possible and let the big boys do the job by taking over France.

Why Is France Being Attacked?
As some of you may know, when France was wiped by Poland, they managed to make a deal in which Poland would not have to worry about Resistance Wars, and France would keep a few regions. Poland made a deal where France would get to have 10 of their regions back while Poland would keep the rest of the French regions.

France recently violated the agreements. The polish MoFA mentioned this:

"According to this points 4 and 5 of the treaty has been violated by France:
4. France will not start or support any resistance war in regions mentioned in point 3.
5. If Poland lose control over one of regions from point 3:
- France will NE Poland on request of Poland

Hereby we would like to inform you that the treaty between France and Poland has been broken by France and is no longer valid."

When France liberated one region, Rhone Alps, which should have belonged to Poland, France refused to put Poland as Natural Enemy. This violated points 4 and 5 in the treaty, breaking the treaty, and giving Poland the chance to attack. Spain and Macedonia, who are allies of Poland, are helping out Poland and attacking France to make the wiping quicker.
Who Will Take What French Regions?
With Poland, Spain and Republic of Macedonia all attacking France, they will have to plan where each of them will attack. Here are the regions:

Based on the fact that Poland is the only one of the countries that can attack the north of France, Poland is likely to take the following regions:
- Brittany
- Lower Normandy
- North Calais
- Paris Isle of France
- Picardy
- Upper Normandy

This will leave Spain and Republic of Macedonia with five regions to choose from. Spain is closer, and can already attack, two regions which Macedonia cannot. These regions are Midi-Pyrenees and Languedoc Roussillon. Republic of Macedonia will most likely take Corsica, and possibly Province Alpes Azur. This leaves Rhone Alps for either of the two countries, which I believe will be Spain as they will probably finish their battles quicker. So we have these results.
Spain will take:
- Languedoc Roussillion
- Midi-Pyrenees
- Rhone Alps

And Republic of Macedonia will capture:
- Corsica
- Province Alpes Azur
What Will The eUK Do?
The United Kingdom can enter France through five different regions. These regions are Brittany, Lower Normandy, North Calais, Picardy, Upper Normandy. These are also the regions which Poland will possibly take.

The United Kingdom will not certainly go into these battles directly, and could fight for any of the 3 countries that are going into France. However, as we love to hold a French region for a few days and then get conquered for a month, we will probably go into France and take a region or too.

The regions that will get taken if we do enter will either be Picardy and Paris Isle of France, or Upper and Lower Normandy. I see that the United Kingdom will probably go for the Paris option to get extra resource bonuses, however will could actually go for any of the countries that we are able to attack. Just like Spain and Macedonia may talk to each other, we may talk to Poland to see if we can take Paris Isle of France. However, this is all if we are going to go into France.

It is the decision of Congress and the Prime Minister on whether we go into France, and as we look towards the future, I'm sure the citizens would rather have a stable future in terms of regions instead of an unstable one. This would mean we don't go into France. However, we haven't seen a decent battle in a while, and we may want to go to war to get a few days of excitement.

With our new polish Prime Minister, we may see us getting more action on the frontline. But the future is uncertain, and anything could happen.
