War games - next battle update!

Dear Irish citizens,

A new battle will be launched the 22nd of May at approximately 12.00 Erepublik time, for your maximum convenience and war game pleasure.

This battle will take place on Rhode Island, USA.

Some important information:if you are a(n) (officially appointed) person running for congress, I advise you remain in the region that you have been stationed in by your Party President. This is because of your candidacy as congressman that has the 23rd of each month as a final date, being tomorrow. If you are one of these people, please do NOT move to a region with a hospital unless you are running in said region.

I know this works against getting the maximum out of each war game, but to get everything out of our war game period I am in favor of having as many as we can for the time being, even if this puts around 40 people in a less comfortable position than the other 1000ish+ we have around here.

It is possible that for these war games that there are no weapons distributed by the IDF for you to train with. I will however see to it that we can distribute some, but due to the short notice and the whole organisation going on to prevent a TO, the IDF is running at 110% and can be a bit preoccupied at the moment. Having our official MoD on holiday for a week also slows things down a bit, but I'm sure his current acting replacement is also up to the task in any case. Watch your inventory as everything is still possible.

I'll say again, appointed congress candidates, do NOT move regions anymore. Feel free to enjoy the war games from your location, keep in mind that you however may not be able to use the hospital if said region does not own one. There will however be war games in the future again, when you are again free to move and can recuperate the lost wellness again. The sheer amount of people not running for congress and that are still able to move on voting day (this won't even be necessary as the games end before voting day) is too great to cancel out on a war game.

Also, candidates and voters, heed the advice given to you by your Party President concerning the voting on congress day. Many of you have received an extra moving ticket by the IDF, so you can move to a region to vote accordingly if necessary. Do NOT waste this ticket on anything else. Your voting location has PRIORITY to training in the war. If moving around and / or training in the war game in any way jeopardises your ability to vote, refrain from moving!

I'm hoping everyone can still enjoy their war games. Having a hostile force attempting to throw things around is no reason for us Irish to be intimidated and alter our way of living. This is a statement we make. We will not be bullied, we will not stand aside, we will uphold our standards, we ARE Irish!
