War Bond Program Launches!

"The sinews of war are infinite money" - Cicero

It might make more sense to simply shorten that to "the sinews of war are money." It's true enough. Right to the point then.

Indians, we're down to one region, and we aren't pleased about it. Plans are in the making to launch a counteroffensive, and take back what we have lost. But launching attacks costs gold, signing MPPs costs gold, and our military requires funding as well. And here is where the bond program comes in.

You can help the cause simply by lending us your gold. And you'll even earn a return on it. The idea is that we get gold now, and in a certain period of time, you'll receive your value back, plus interest, in INR. This is similar to what was proposed by Indian patriot David Forde recently.

The current exchange rate is approximately 55 INR per gold. In this program, for every 1 gold you send in, you will, in two months time, receive back 62 INR, a return of just over 10%. The government retains the option to stretch out repayment another month if the situation requires it. If the government requires this extra time, then you will, in three months time, receive back 68 INR per gold, a return of over 20% based on current rates.

Help your country, and help your pocket. What could be better? Send your gold to this very organization, and we'll take care of the rest (please only whole amounts of gold).

Edit: We are no longer taking new bonds as of this date. Go India!
