War and eCanada, a nation and its warriors going soft?
Well i've threatening to do it, and here it is, another article.
I remember a time in eRepublic when the warriors of our eWorld were dynamic, free thinking beasties.
They would see a war and go and fight in it, as long as it was for the right people against the right people.
Back in the day those (or I think I will use we) soldiers came upon the novel idea of buying moving tickets and then moving to that country and fight for the cause.
Back it in beta I believe our own dear Banach was one such warrior fighting in eSouth Africa against the Indonesians, I believe in that particular conflict Banach was the only eCanadian to fight.
I myself in V1 took part in the second (or maybe third) eSouth African conflict, whilst the CAF was out doing a certain eastern European country's bidding, for the sake of this article I shall call that country eRomania.

I digress, during those dark and mystic times a moving ticket using warrior tended to look a little like this,
Ignoring the ginger beard,
Look how tooled* up and ready for action he is, this is a fighter ready for action, even our own dear ironman looks like that, even if he does have a gold encrusted weapon and mink lining to his uniform, and probably drives around in diamond encrusted hummer.
* Tooled up = armed in English English
Which brings me to the point of all of this.
IF YOU WANT WAR.......GO AND FIND ONE
Don't sit around writing articles about 'how you want a war', 'why don't we start a RW' or 'dear ironman can I pay you to start a RW so you can get another medal'.
Back in the day we went and found a war if we wanted to fight,
We bought a moving ticket and moved, we didn't sit whining about how boring life is with no war.
So for all the armchair warriors wanting to fight a battle from Ontario or PEI, please, for the love of god PLEASE:-
*Buy a moving ticket
*Buy some weapons
And move to a place where is a battle.
Its how it used to be done in the old days.
Otherwise you will end up looking like this,

to overstate the obvious: there's daily training wars going on via Malaysia, Romania, etc. we just need to maintain at least one relevant alliance

Be free housebound warriors of Ontario, Vancouver and Alberta, the world outside may be scary, the outside world is where the battles are,

It is marquis, but for the war brigade who want easy war that looking at the bigger picture could hurt our eCountry the only way is to go find it.

There have been times I've wished I wasn't an MP.
So Tamas wants us all to buy moving tickets and leave the country to fight. Is this the start of a plan to have Canada slowly infiltrated as we Canadians move to fight and then all of a sudden BAM PTO! and then BAM! Canada starts a bunch of wars and then all hell breaks lose and Canada is again forced to love in Florida while our lovely nation is being torn a sunder by Eastern Europeans and their Yugos?

100% agree with Tamas, those were the old days, we moved constantly, all wages going to MT and guns. Worked and fought in more places that I can name.
Soldiers need to fight & learn, if Canadian politicians are not willing to bring us war then we move. This way when Canada needs it we can come back battle ready.

people are missing my point, this is a stop yeh moaning and DO IT YOURSELF message, I haven't asked for any form of mass mobilisation, just for people to do what we used to do and fight off your own back.
Pants Magee: What the hell are you talking about? You can move fight and then move immediately back, aint that hard. And I don't think you can PTO someone in the day or two you move to fight in one battle...
Do you guys really think everyone is going to be purchasing 2 moving tickets a day to go fight some where? I think people would probably look for a place involved in a daily war and stay for a while. If multiple people do this it lowers the Canadian population. If multiple do this during an election period it is entirely possible that there could be enough people getting into Canada that someone who isn't a regular Canadian citizen could win an election. Didn't that recently happen where someone without any member of congress won an election because the populace was split between the 2 real candidates? It is just a possible theory on one action that could happen, It's not like I'm prophesying it or anything, but there are always possible negatives to any situation.
And since when am I not allowed to go all Glen Beck in a comment taking so crazy angle to a situation?
Do It Myself? Who am I Mike Holmes, or Bruck? Pretty sure that the government takes taxes out of the guns I buy, the foods, I eat, the shack I sleep in, even though I can see the stars through the roof, cheap P.O.S., and the job I work? Now multiply that out by the thousands of people in eCanada, ok maybe the hundreds who actually are living players and not becoming dead, and I believe it is possible to have access to TW's. Now I'm clearly no economist, as I sure most people aren't, but I do believe it is feasible until there are absolute number facts about it.

P. Magee, you are over complicating a simple thing, if you want war GO AND FIND IT, its that simple.
You don't just fight one battle, stay there a week, if its a war then there will be more battles to fight.

*Buy supplies (inc the all important Moving ticket(s))
*Move to region of war
*Get a job
*fight in war
Here is a suggestion, look at the media, make yourself known, say that you are here to fight, someone might give you weapons seeing as though you are helping them.
Show a bit less inertia, be a do-er, you don't need a lot of money to do it, jeez what is wrong with people wanting spoon fed?.....eCanadians today really don't have a clue on how things should be done.
