Citizens of London, in the upcoming congress elections, I will be running as a candidate. I have been in London for a short while but I hope to be making an impact not only in the region but also in the eUK, who for? For the people of eUK, and most of all for all you Londoners out there. The members of previous congresses have done fantastically well in what they have done. I would first like to congratulate them.

On to the business of running, I would like to state that I am running for The Unity Party better known as TUP

Entertainment policy:

It seems that the activity of the forums is particularly low in London and this should not be so because it is the highest populated region in the eUK. Why is this? My feeling is that there isn’t enough to entertain people visiting the forums to make people stay on them. To conquer this we present the entertainment, national lottery draws, art competitions, literature competitions etc. I will work to include all in games and fun!

Health policy:

And naturally you will all be encouraged to use this to increase your wellness and therefore your productivity.
Vinners is the current NHS director of London and is therefore the person you need to contact.
I think this programme is a good one and I will continue to support it.

Taxation and financial policy:

In game citizens do get directly taxed, you may not notice this but it comes out of your daily wages, there are taxes on the goods that you buy too, for a stable economy we need to retain a healthy taxation on goods however if you feel the taxation is too high and you are finding it hard to live I will be there to support each and every one of you, I will furthermore support fair taxes.

Information policy:

Currently our information system is up to standard with official papers and a few personal papers, however the official papers need to include links to the national forum which is at www.erepublik.co.uk. Recruitment threads for the army also need to be produced officially as well as official papers about the economy and its situation.

Alliances and Foreign policy:

Currently the eUK has many MPP’s with several different countries, however none of these countries are at war and our MPP’s have not been activated. This means that the citizens of the eUK can’t fight and can’t gain that experience from fighting.
Many alliances need to be either created or secured and I will vote for this in congress.
Another matter is that of political take over’s. This is the process of moving large amounts of citizens of one nation into another so that that nation may conquer that nation. In my opinion we can help those nations, we can work for the nations against the enemy and help small countries such as Germany find their footing in the new world.

Military policy:

The military is the organisation split into 3 main sections: Royal Guard, Royal navy and the Paras. There is also the best of the best group the SAS.
The Royal Guard stay at home and are the defence of the nation I am currently a Sergeant in the Royal Guard.
The Royal Navy travel overseas to fight battles but also remain here from time to time.
The paras are the elite in the army and travel all over the world to where ever they are ordered to fight
However in Romania their military is organised into “legions” groups of people who all work for the same company and supply themselves with the weaponry, currently the army supplies weapons for the fighting.
At this time Romania is the strongest country in the new world and they have the best military in the world, this is down to organization and the new legion scheme I think will help produce similar results in the eUK.
