Wake Up Call

Day 868, 06:14 Published in USA Brazil by Rod Damon

I woke up this morning, hoping that things were in hand from when I had to crash to bed last night. When I turned off my computer, most of the elections we were involved with were going how we wanted. There was one we were trailing in slightly, another that was neck and neck, but we had some people available to vote right on the wire, and one where we were slightly ahead. I honestly figured that we would win two.

Then this morning, I had to face the facts that the new rules for new accounts are really going to screw our smaller friends over. Those nations that regularly employ the cheating ways of multis and bots are going to run over all the elections, the new rules allow for new citizens to be able to vote way too early and does not allow groups like Project C.A.R.E. enough time to determine if they are multiple accounts and sure enough does not allow enough time for Admin to review a ticket and make a decision in time to prevent the theft of an election.

Of the elections that we were involved with yesterday, we lost in three elections

Norway - Our candidate lost by 14 votes
Czech - Our candidate lost by 11 votes
Bosnia - Our candidate lost by 2 votes

27 votes to tie, which probably would have given the win due to rules, 30 votes for a clear lead.

30 votes.

While I can vent about cheaters and we can speculate about how many more multis they might have had in reserve, I have to look at the numbers.

Woxan had 989 more votes then the #2 candidate.

989 votes. I am willing to say 800 of those were wasted votes.

Now I know after the congressional election, there was a call for ATO Blockers for our elections. Congress has created a position to address the problem, and it will be taken care of before the congressional election, so that we will not have to worry about further PTO candidates in the USA.

The thing that gets me is if you are maintaining USA citizenship, and you are not running for office in the USA, I really want to hear from you WHY? I know the two clickers are not going to be involved enough to work with us in strategic voting, but if you are an active person, and since you are reading this, I have to assume you are, can you really give me a reason why you wasted a vote as opposed to choosing to use your vote meaningfully. Do you feel that strongly about voting for our candidates? Is having that little American flag under citizenship that important to you? Are the voting rules too byzantine to grasp?

30 votes, people.

With 30 votes, we might have three allied countries that we could count on.

This is a game, and voting is part of it. You can choose to use your vote creatively, constructively, and with purpose….or you can be the 500th vote wasted on an election that was decided hours before you voted.

It’s time to wake up.

30 votes.

Was yours used decisively?
