Am Samstag den 15.8.2009 stehen die Wahlen zum Parteivorsitzenden an.

Warum sind diese Wahlen wichtig?
Der Parteivorsitzende wählt die endgültigen Kandidaten aus, die für einen Sitz im Kongress kandidieren dürfen. Wird diese Position durch einen ePolen ausgefüllt, dann kann dieser ePolnische Kandidaten bevorzugen und ihr habt bei der darauffolgenden Kongresswahl gar nicht mehr die Chance eure Stimmen an deutsche Kandidaten zu vergeben, weil diese gar nicht mehr zur Wahl stehen!
Außerdem entscheidet der Parteivorsitzende alleine, wen die Partei als Präsidentschaftskandidaten bei der nächsten Präsidentenwahl unterstützt. Ist der Parteipräsident ein ePole kann er einen ePolnischen Kandidaten aufstellen oder unterstützen.

Wie kann ich wählen?
Um an den Wahlen des Parteivorsitzenden teilnehmen zu können, musst du dich in Deutschland befinden und einer Partei angehören, sowie die deutsche Staatsbürgerschaft haben. Unter My places -> Party kannst du beitreten und am Wahltag auch wählen.

Und in welcher Partei soll ich wählen?
Aktuell hat noch jeder die Möglichkeit sich als Parteipräsident aufstellen zu lassen. Daher kann noch nicht abgesehen werden, in welcher Partei es Übernahmeversuche durch die ePolen geben wird.
Ich empfehle daher am Samstag aufmerksam die Nachrichten des Bundesministeriums des Inneren (BMI) zu verfolgen: http://www.erepublik.com/en/newspaper/bmi-report-179638/1

Am Samstag bin ich nur kurz da und kann nicht wirklich auf Nachrichten warten!
Wenn du keine Zeit hast zu warten bis die Nachrichten publiziert werden, kannst du einfach einer Partei deiner Wahl beitreten. Aktuell gibt es in 4 eDeutschen Parteien jeweils nur einen eDeutschen Präsidentschaftskandidaten. In der FDD gibt es aktuell noch 2. Gib dann einfach deine Stimme ab, bevor du offline gehst.

On Saturday the 15th of August the party president elections will take place.

Why is the election to party president essential?
The party president choses the final candidates which are allowed to run for a congress seat. Is this position conquered by an ePole he is able to chose ePolish candidates instead of eGermans and you don't even have the chance to chose ans eGerman candidate for your vote because he isn't even running for congress!
Furthermore the party president decides solely whom the party supports in the next presidential elections. If the party president is an ePole he can advance or support an ePolish candidate.

How can I vote?
To participate in the party presidential elections you have to be in Germany, you have to be a german citizen and you have to be a party member. You can join a party at My places -> Party and the you can cast your vote on election day.

And which Party should I join?
At the moment everyone can place themselves as party presidential candidate. So it can't be exactly foreseen in which party there will be a take-over trial by the ePoles. On Saturday I haven't got time and I'm online only a short period of time!
If you don't have time to wait till the news are published you can join a party of your choice. At the moment there a 4 partys with only one german candidate and one party with two, the FDD. Just cast your vote before you go offline.
