The tournament may be a National shield tournament, please do not start fighting before government has announced our strategy.
Previous national shield tournaments D1-D3 players were instructed not to fight in order to improve our average score.
E-Republik wording is as follows:

The time is due for another tournament!
Will it be epic, give a National Shield, involve Military
Units or something entirely new?

cant wait for something new, this game is FORCING people to go two-clicking.
we threw all our shields away anyways.. so why do we even want to fight for them.. if we aren't going to use them in an intelligent fashion... & I even had an incentive program with my own gold last time, so we could get as many defense shields as possible.. only to be thrown away by a directionless government..

Nope, it didn't fit YOUR direction. By the way, if we did what you have liked we would now be wiped without a shield.
It is still not sure what the rewards will look like. A shield is only a possibility.

Nah, I'm not putting words into your mouth. You saying that we wasted our shield suggests that an Air Strike was not the way to go in your eyes. If I remember correctly, you even said so yourself before. That would have left us with our core regions, and those were at a point wiped, and so would our shield.
I sure hope it will turn the whole e-world up side down. Cause the way it is now, and even going to be with that new alliance, is just way too boring 🙁
