Voting time yo's

Day 1,171, 20:48 Published in South Africa USA by GoneAndGone

So, I'm not writing this as Tenshibo the CEP member, or Tenshibo the friend of Shiloh, or Tenshibo the bff Spongebob-lover of Krimpie. This, is for realz *insert sexy sex time music*

So, with elections coming up, all kinds of biased propaganda goes up (look at Fhaemita's recent article, no offense) but, lets really break down the elections.

The two candidates are Al Kazar and Krimpie. Their VPs are Shiloh DeGreat and Cyberwitch, respectively. Both have very differnt backgrounds, and therefore different approaches to this. So, to start shall be Krimpie.

Krimpie break down
Krimpie is essentially a military pro. Back in Rising, he save me and two other guys by wiping out a group of 5 people who had us locked down. he then killed another like 1000 guys before i could move again. His military skills, ranks, and etc. are without question some of the best not only in eSA, but argueably in eRep. And yet, he still manages to only be a prick a little bit of the time 😛
This coupled by his VP Cyberwitch pretty much means military skills are above and beyond in this case, so lets continue.

His political skills seem lacking from the outside looking in. He has a few congress medals, and that is about it, for medaled tasks. He has many Cabinet posistions (so i'm told, before my time or knowledge) and is currently an advisor to the president, Grimstone. So, his political experience seems like it could be lacking. But, is this a bad thing? One of my favorite presidents, Stryke_Blayde, had almost none when he became CP, and did a good job for his term. So, this may not be a bad thing, as it may keep him honest and to the point.

My main concern from Krimpie is in economics. I have ZERO knowledge on his economic prowess. Now, lets hold up. THIS DOESN'T MEAN IT DOENS'T EXIST! It just means I don't know. Feel free to ask him, he'll tell you no problem, and I'm sure will be honest.

Another problem is his campaign, or lack-there-of. He has no platform, and is riding the, "i also represent the people behind me," train. now, the platform, for Krimpie, I can deal with. I know him sort of. I know what I can get from him, and expect some happy surprises. But, for the average joe who doesn't know him, this seems kind of lazy and doesn't give a feel of what you will do. And, I really don't like his campaign of the people behind him. Sure, they are great. But, when I click vote in the elections, it doesn't say "Click here ot vote for Krimpie, Cyberwitch, Chucker, and Mark Morcom." It just says Krimpie, so, i want to know what i get from him specifically.

Next up, Al Kazar
Al has a massive amount of congress experience. He has numerous, numerous, congress medals and terms as speaker, deputy speaker, and moderators. his congress experience list is as long as Krimpie's military list. He knows congress inside and out, and therefore knows laws, taxes, foreign affairs, and the many other fields that are invloved with congress, and are required for someone such as himself to become a successful of a congressmen as he has become in the past few year(s) This experience, which is recent i add, will be invaluable to a CP, and would aid him and the country in many many ways while dealing with rebulding the economy and trying to increase our security.

AL, however, is lacking in both cabinet experience, and military experience. This could be a problem, as both, especially military, are important skills to have. even right now, where things are relatively peaceful war wise, this could change as the alliances are shifting. But, his VP makes up for this. Shiloh DeGreat is HUGE jarheard military man. Almost all of his eRep life has been devoted to the military, the eSAAF specifially, and its various branches. He stuck with it durring it's down time, and helped reconstruct it with the help of many other people. his military accomplishements are very great, similiar to Krimpie's, if not as extenseive. So, his experience is more than enough to make up for Al's lack there of. (though, as i stated earlier, it's a vote for Al Kazar, not al kazar, shiloh degreat, mark morcom, and chucker) And, quit note: Shiloh is kind of a genuis when it comes to politics, and has a very similiar direct, honest approach like Krimpie does.

My problem with Al Kazar is this: no platform. Krimpie is a military man, i know what i'm getting from him. But, Al is a politician first and foremost. These people change as the world changes, and so do their views and policies. so, i'm not quite sure what i am getting unforunately. So, if i can't, can you guys?

Who to vote for?
So, the vote is here, but what do you do? Who to choose, who to choose...
I'm not gonna lie: i don't even know. I really just don't! Neither candidate in my mind is a definate. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. Al Kazar can be really good, and will someday be a great president. But, i haven't seen much this run, so i have no idea if now is that time. Krimpie too will someday be a good president. But, he's a military man. In a time of war, i'd vote for him in a heart beat. But, right now, in a time of reconstruction and rebuilding, i can't help but feel maybe his talents would be better suited as an adviser again, or as CoS or another similar posistion.

We have a big decsision on our hands. In past elections, who to vote for in my mind was clear, and i'm sure in your's too. but, now not so much. I won't vote for someone based off friends or status. I need something more. but, right now, i'm not seeing it. the vote will be interesting. Good luck to both candidates, and to you the voters, may your decision be well informed, and be without regret.
