Vote Venerable; A Second Attempt
Venerable
Greetings fellow eCanadians,
With my return to Canada from my time in eUS in service to the late Independent Legion, I have decided to run for congress in Quebec. This is not my first attempt, though I hope that it will be my first success. Since my last attempt over 100 days ago, I have grown not only as a player, but as an individual. I have learned much of what eCanada is capable of, as all of us have seen in recent wars. We are an underdog most assuredly, but an underdog that is able to topple mountains when the support of its citizens is mustered.
It is with this comparison that I would like to run for congress. While I no longer consider myself new to the game, I am still a political underdog. But I am an underdog that will give all that I can for eCanada. Just last night, I spent just under 100 thousand CAD in the defense of our great nation, and I watched in Glory as the battle was turned to a success. It is with this sense of Glory that I will take to Congress, so that I may vote as a Canadian, under the banner of the Military Dictatorship Party, for the Glory of Canadians.
I find this immensely important, as there are Canadians who do not wish for Glory. Among us there are those who would rather sit back, safe, and not strive for a eCanada where our newer players level and profit with ease, as I would have. Most of these players are old, experienced, and well off, so they care little for the affairs of the players. As one who was born December 20th, 2011, I know that it is hard to make for oneself an impressive figure, but I have done so to the farthest extent possible, as can be seen by my level and strength. I will do everything I can to insure that Congress’s decisions are held in favor of the underdogs.
While I have no direct political experience to back my claims, I do have various experiences among Military Units. As many of you know, I was 2nd Commander of Independent Legion, among which I held various responsibilities such as taking care of newer members, supplying our fighters, and peddling wares for IL. Now, as a member of Rylde’s Roughnecks, I have already been given responsibilities due to my past experience, and I am looking forward to doing the best I can.
I can offer only what I am able to, but I assure all of you that what I can offer can only help our Glorious country. Under the Military Dictatorship Party banner I promise to do all that I can to push our country forward, to expand our nation in all areas, be it politics, war, or finance, and to do all I do for you.
Thank you,
The Venerable One

Thank you, merci beaucoup!
good luck Venerable!
So how about that MU funding reform? Tax changes? Funding for RR? Lack of Congress activity in the forum?
Any thoughts on any that or would you like to stick to the lofty rhetoric?
heh, that's alright. No one pays much attention to the minutiae these days, war war war!
Plugson: I see you've taken one part of my speech and polarized it. That's fine, of course, as I DID mention defending Canada. Oh, well, that's a good thing. You're an eCanadian citizen, right? Surely you can respect that. However, if you look at everything else, you'll note that Glory does not have to be only on a battle front, whether it's offensive or defensive. I also mentioned, while brief due to my inexperience, that I will do everything I can on ALL fronts.
heh, gotta kick the tires of the other parties out there. You're good stuff, that's why I gave you a kick. Sure, if you meant glory in other ways, I'm for that.Playing up the battle module is good fun and I like to see people immerse themselves in the imaginative aspects of the game, yet in Congress, the emotional appeal of the game should take a backseat to logically figuring out how the mechanics of eCanada need to be tweaked. You're probably aware of that because you've put out good articles b4
There is most assuredly a connection between the two, as can be most appreciated when looking at the wars of the past few days. Whether it's the political module, or the political conferences that happen outside of the module itself. This is what I've yet to experience first hand, and I hope to be able to do so this term.
