Vote Pfeiffer for Louisiana!! Again...please

Day 578, 19:07 Published in USA USA by James S. Pfeiffer

People of Louisiana! I cannot tell you how honored I am to be serving as your congressman. I have updated my voting record regularly (expect a new one before the election), worked to try and make government more transparent, and always voted my conscience.

Before I present my platfrom, allow me to introduce myself to those of you who don't know me. I’m James Pfeiffer, I was born on day 532, right here in Louisiana. I’m a member of the Federalist Party, as well as the Home Guard, and a mentor in the Department of Education.

I am active on both the Federalist forums, and the eUS forums, where I post regularly, and have made several friends from IRC and the forums, most of whom are or were active in eUS politics, including cabinet members, congressmen, even a former Vice-President (here's looking at you, Mel).

Mentoring has been fun, it's nice to get to talk to players right as their joining, to try and start them on the path to being productive and fully enjoy their eLife.

Moving on to my platform, things have changed, while other stances I maintain. I have learned a lot in the past month.

Transparency in Government – I think we should be as open as we can without risking operational security, as far as defense system or hospital placement, military operations and funding, or other security concerns. Real lives aren't on the line, so we can afford to be more inclusive.

Budget Policy – I always supported lower income taxes. Many people avoid them through donations or the monetary market, I don't, but others do. If people are avoiding them because of the loss, maybe lowering them will lower the number of people who take the time to avoid them. I am in no way an expert in this area, and listen to people who know more than I do.

Mentoring – As I said above, it's super fun, and I encourage more people to get involved, especially congressmen.

Foreign Relations – I am all about MPPs. I've said so many times. They protect us, and they protect the people we make them with. Game mechanics limit congress as far as what we can do in-game, but with a new alliance on the horizon, I am hopeful that we will have an organization to oppose PEACE.

That's pretty much it. I've changed a bit since last month, because I've learned a lot. If you have questions, let me know, and I'll respond. Ian...hopefully you'll approve of my platform this time. LOL.

It has been an honor to serve you all in Louisiana, and I hope you trust me to continue to do so. I will diligently work to be honest and open. If you have any questions during the next month, or ever, PM me, I will get back to you ASAP.

BTW, I have the RightCon endorsement, so I carry not only the Federalist banner, but the Libertarian, Conservative, and UIP endorsements as well...plus the Conservatives, via live IRC vote, have granted me official 'Honorary CvPer' status. Cause I'm that awesome.

All the best,

James Pfeiffer
