VOTE NIMITZ FOR PRESIDENT - CJ MUST LOSE!

Day 683, 19:51 Published in Israel Israel by Hyman Roth

"Pessimism is a luxury that an Israeli's can never allow themselves."
-- Golda Meir

Tonight we stand at a vital hour in the course of Israeli history. We, the citizenry of the state, hold in OUR hands the fate of a nation. A nation that has fallen into the dangerous clutches of a near-oligarchical power structure. A nation whose glorious destiny has been squandered and sabotaged by lowered expectations and egregious fiscal mistakes by our current leader. A nation whose President, more frightening than anything else, likes country AND western music.

And so, it is at this hour, as we stand at the precipice, that I ask each of you, old and young, long time citizen or new immigrant, war veterans and two-clickers, forum whores and the great silent majority whose activity is discouraged by the arrogance of the experienced.... VOTE FOR CHARLES NIMITZ FOR PRESIDENT.

More simply put, CJ Must Lose.

At stake is our standing in the world. At stake is risking our treasury to attacks, foreign or domestic. At stake is turning the momentous opportunity that is the waning of a World War into the tragedy of lost hope.

This is not an indictment of the entire Administration. In fact, without the continued work of current cabinet members we are at a grave disadvantage. CJ Must Lose has made wise choices with many of his Ministers (though an active population greater than 20 would certainly provide equally strong personalities). Yet, intelligent delegation does not an effective president make.

I've personally reached out to many in the current administration. This was an effort to gleam just a smidgen of their wise counsel as to why, in the face of losing the entire treasury...TWICE... and anemic progress both in terms of the interior and geo-politically, they still had seemingly blind loyalty to CJ Must Lose. The distillation of their answer was simply this: the perception of experience.

Which begs the ultimate question: with such invaluable experience, how does our incumbent President manage these economic travesties and, as is commonly believed, fail to build a more dynamic, active population - both through current citizenry and new immigrants.

And I now quote myself from an exchange with a current minister: Could it be that, at the very least, the appearance of severe fiscal mismanagement, elitism, and an absence of inclusivity by the leadership has in effect alienated the populace? The President has done little to invigorate the people and lead the entire state towards a participatory end where our faith isn't shaken by suspect events. Suspect events that, whether intentional or otherwise, fall at his feet.

Citizens, be confounded by the allegiance to a status quo that seems to garner collective critique. Be outraged that those with the economic experience to know have stated that CJ Must Lose could have saved our treasury. Demand that the nation rise up and put into place the progressive, positive, inclusive programs needed for our collective destiny - the plans of Charles Nimitz.

Simply scan the forums and see that the generation of new, invigorating ideas have come not from the current head of state, but rather Nimitz - whose wise, insightful, active participation on all fronts of all discussion can offer up but a glimpse of the vibrant nation that would exist under his leadership.

The time is now. We cannot take this nation back without the help of every citizen. Pessimism, as Ms. Meir duly notes, in the form of accepting these few to lead the many, is not a luxury we allow. Let's bring the power back to the people. If not, we risk another terms of puppetry politics, lost progress, arrogant oligarchy, and leaving our beautiful nation in a state of waste in the hands of a ruling class that rules by, and for, themselves.

CJ Must Lose.
