Vote mjdiv to put TAMA into Congress

Day 880, 15:01 Published in USA USA by mjdiv

Citizens of eUSA and voters in the Narragansett State: Many of you know me already and know what I stand for. For those who don’t, let’s go back over a year ago to where my journey began. When I was born, Justinious McWalburgson III was President and USA was recovering from the national treasury being wiped out. During the first Presidential election that I was alive, Uncle Sam became President and he proved to be quite a charismatic character. A lot of citizens started to find “fun” or “lulz” in the various “wars” that were started, but the culture at that time was one that created enemies unnecessarily due to lulz at the expense of others. A lot of people in USA also felt that we did not need anyone else and a lot of us were naïve in the pre-WWIII months because our country had never been successfully invaded and citizens had the false assumption that we never would be. Even back then, I understood how important international relations would be for our future. I understood how interdependent we must be to succeed in eRepublik and I understood that national pride could only be realized as part of something bigger. I knew that, in order to have the support of other nations, we needed to build trust and become good allies who were interested in helping other nations if we could ever expect the same from them. I knew that “winning” in eRepublik would mean many nations winning together as a team and that no one nation could surpass all others because real life national pride would band nations together against any nation that attempted to dominate the world. Protectionism is counterproductive because it shows other nations that we are not interested in their success, even if they are allies. But think about this: If our allies are economically successful, they can be militarily successful and thus we and our allies will together be more successful. Sharing of successes is what will make any alliance as strong as it can be.

When scrabman was President, I got my first position in the executive branch in his Cabinet as White House Press Secretary. I saw the ATLANTIS alliance fall apart and I worked extensively with then Secretary of State Harrison Richardson to form a new alliance: Fortis. I came up with a structure that was based on high resources and population with a voting structure from 1 at the least to 4 maximum and most of our would-be allies at that time (including Spain) were on-board with it. The reason this fell apart, and also why Fortis was not as good of an alliance as it could have been, was because UK kept balking at our proposals and wanting us to change the terms. Instead of standing firm to what would have been a good alliance strategy, our government bent to the will of UK because they wanted to make sure UK was in the alliance. However, UK switched sides anyway and Fortis was left in the dust at the beginning of WWIII and my ideas for the alliance never materialized.

Over the past few weeks, I have stepped forward to contact people from all over the world and many people have joined my cause in the formation of the alliance which will strengthen Brolliance and I’ve been writing articles all around the world about the Trade And Military Alliance (TAMA), which will bring prosperity to all nations involved. To make this successful, it requires people in Congress who understand that we must be open to trade with other nations and they also must be open to trade with us. Over the last year, during my 5 terms in Congress, I have set the stage for USA to take the lead in setting the example and today there is no shortage of any kind of raw materials or products for any citizen, business or organization to buy. Now that I have founded TAMA, I am announcing my intention to return to Congress to make TAMA a reality in USA and continue to work with other nations in the formation of an environment that is healthy for our businesses and citizens alike.

Tl;dr version:
I support strengthening Brolliance with trade between members to improve the economies of all allied nations (TAMA structure) which will lead to combined military strength and prosperity.

This April 25th, if you are looking to strengthen the Brolliance with the TAMA structure, I ask you to vote for me in Rhode Island as well as other non-protectionist candidates in other states from the various parties in USA. Together, we will make USA strong, we will make Brolliance strong and TAMA will be the new standard for the world. If you are ready for an exciting change which doesn’t revolve around the EDEN/Phoenix dogma, then push the Lib button next Sunday and vote for mjdiv!

Remember to vote on April 25th, have fun and enjoy another day in eRepublik!
