I CANNOT FORSAKE COMMON SENSE

But on a serious note:

Our government, of wich I am a part as Minister of Finance, has done a lot of work: the army is being restructured, as you may have allready read in one of the newspapers. Our Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur & Coaching is publishing a lot of information for new players to get them active in our community on our national forum.
I myself have tried to reform the budget law. Government budget is the income of the previous month and no more, unless congress approves. Right now all percentages are fixed for each departement, whether they need it or not. The proposal I made only fixed the income of the department of defense, the other part would be free to distribute by our Country President as the current needs would prescibe. This might mean more budget towards the subsidy programs, or perhaps even a new one. Or more budget for weapons distribution for our soldiers in the army.

Congress has not approved the new law, although the available budget would have remained the same. Unfortunately I haven't heard any clear explanations from the no-voters, and a lot of members elected ingame never even bothered to show up on our forum, where most congress decisions are made.

So I appeal to you, citizens of eNetherlands: vote for active congressmembers, who will actually use YOUR votes to represent you in congress, for the good of you and our country.
