Vote Listhp Tomptos for a Lefty in Queensland

Day 796, 20:40 Published in Australia Australia by Listhp Tomptos
Hey Australia,

I am happy to say I will be running in Queensland as an Independent Lefty. I hope to build on the great work we've already done and try and fix up some mistakes the senate has made.

Firstly though I would like to tell you all something. I will not promise to fix Australia, every election we have promises made and almost always broken. I will try to achieve what may be difficult but is possible and what I benefit Australia.

So, what might I be voting for in the Senate:

Defence:
Australia has recently seen a new type of army come to Australia, the foreign militia (eg. Crimson Devils) . I believe that while Australian Militia fighting in Australian wars should be accepted we should think a bit more before letting foreign or International militia recruit in Australia. The first reason I say this is because unless you are Australian you aren't looking out for Australia's best interests and while we may temporarily be on the same side as the CD this will probably not last forever. The second reason I say this is that when our citizens fight in wars we are not involved in they lose touch with us. Then, when we need these people to fight in our wars (eg. Brazil attacking Australia) they might be on the other side of the world fighting in foreign wars and completely unaware of any threat to Australia. These foreign militia must be pushed out of Australia or we will increase the risk of losing Australia itself.

Economy:
If elected I would vote to keep all of Australia's taxes the pretty much the same except for income taxes on Wood, Iron and Oil companies. Increasing taxes on these companies would direct the Australian land skill workers into more productive Diamond and Grain companies. Compensation should be given to the company owners over the next month.

I would also vote to increase the amount of money directed to the building of hospitals and defence systems. This would help increase the amount of people involved in construction and therefore increase our ability to build more hospitals and DS should we lose some in the future. It would also allow us to put hospitals in Tasmania and NT where citizens are unable to fight more than once or twice a week.

New Players:

Retaining new players should be one of our top three national priorities and any spare money the government has should be directed to efforts to engage them.

I hope you will consider voting for Queensland's most experienced leftys.
