Vote KeetnaWilson for a Better Ireland!
KeetnaWilson
Hello Everyone-
As you may know, I will be running for CP this February. I will be running for an eIreland for the people, and by the people. A vote for KW is a vote for a better Ireland, with a better direct democracy and a stronger military.
Agenda:
Direct Democracy
As CP of eIreland I will organize our direct democracy in a fair and more inclusive fashion. I will set up a more formal voting system, disabling the potential for government corruption, and merge all Communes into an external thread with an easy-to-use, simple, and direct voting system. There will be no hoops to jump through, your vote will go directly to the results, not posted by any player or government official. One of the main goals of my administration will be to ensure all players get a voice, and this system, while not perfect, is a leap in that direction.
New Player Support
Though not just a flaw of eIreland, we have received few active new citizens lately. This includes citizenship transfers and new players, and it is critical to our continuing success as a nation that we welcome and help jumpstart new players into eIrish society. Though many will point this out as a weakness, I was a new player not a terribly long time ago. I experienced the challenges of growing in a game oriented for players who have played longer. I believe with a strong, active Ministry of Education and a system of benefits for new players, I would be well past where I am today. In my administration we will set up programs to give players food, weapons, and even gold. Our Ministry of Education will be sending out articles at least weekly, something our society has missed for multiple terms.
Better Foreign Affairs and Transparency
The last month or so has been an eventful one for eIreland. While we gained valuable allies, we also lost some, and I think our government should be even more centered around Foreign Affairs. Not only should we ensure that every MPP offer and step in any direction is voted on, but also, we should be more transparent about our deals with other countries, as many a rumor spread about our foreign affairs last term, and more transparency will help settle our government and unite our people. More Info About This In Part 2
In Conclusion, my term will work for an eIreland better for our people. Having a united society is critical in a country the size of ours, and that will help us become an even stronger nation, united as one.
Goals for First 5 Days of My Term:
Organize New Commune and Voting System
Communicate to all of our current allies and set goals for new MoFA.
Set up MoE
Next 5 Days:
Set Up New Player Aid System
More MoFA topics
New Voting System Confirmation/Final Test Run

External threads and voting? as in an external site or apart of eRep
External Side, There are many options, the easiest would be a Discord with a discussion section, and a voting section with a voting bot. There would be no thread limits for people (resulting in multiple messages), and there would be no one between the voting and the results.
Okay, the reason I was asking is that I am not a big fan of external sites. About 60% of the time I access the game from a mobile device (where it is a quick log in, reply to messages etc), so to use an external site becomes more troublesome.
Discord has an app, so that should be fine, I think the site is good too.
Interesting programme!
Good luck!
PS: Any idea of the cabinet?
Good luck!
Good luck.
Good luck

I started a campaign on the rights of future legends and Legends
Currently there are about 580 legends with many different names and varied and no more
descendants from the original name. This is due to the arrogance of some Legends owners.
it is time to put an end to this injustice, we give respect to descendants of Legends.

External voting= creation of "forum elite" like in the eUS?
No. It would have the exact same people as the current Dublin Commune, almost the exact same, just on a different website to streamline voting system, merge both threads, which currently is a problem when trying to discuss to the entire commune. Also, the voting will be direct, no person to count and deliver votes, there will be a system in which you vote, and the results are posted with no government official counting votes from multiple threads, which complicates the process.
