Vote for WebMastR in New Mexico!

Day 1,463, 19:29 Published in USA USA by WebMastR
Part 1 – Introduction

We are NOT happy with these taxes!

Hello, my name is WebMastR. I am running for congress in New Mexico this month, and would like to share my feelings concerning the topic of election. The big question is:

Who should I vote for?

The answer to that big question can be easily determined by an answer to a slightly smaller question:

Who would make the most positive difference?

This, readers, is what we have to ask ourselves when voting. You need to select the candidate with the best qualifications, which includes:

- Experience and Knowledge

- Responsibility

- Respect

- Activity

- Loyalty

- Has goals to strive for

These are just several of the values a voter should be looking for when selecting a candidate.

Popular Mistakes Made by Voters

1. It is my understanding that some voters just vote for the experience point. Yes, it is true, when you vote in an election, you will acquire a single experience point. But, if all of those people who just vote for the experience point began thinking with more depth, more awareness, they could acquire so much more. Voting for the right candidate is important, because it does have an impact on the community.

2. Then, of course, there are many people who do actually care about the candidates and making the correct decision, yet they decide to go with everyone else. Many voters will just look at the candidate with the most votes and vote for them, convinced that they are the best choice. Though don’t forget:

Quality Over Quantity

And that often leads them to make the wrong decision. This is not always true, and often isn’t, yet it’s something to think about, for those people who really do care.

Part 2 – Qualifications

After reading my introduction, you are aware that I feel strongly about making the correct decision for voting. I did mention qualifications in Part 1, and their importance. In this section, I would like to share with you, voters, my qualifications for becoming a responsible, respectful, and understanding eUS congressman:

1. Experience and Knowledge

I am a Platoon Commanding Officer (2nd Lieutenant) in the United States Training Corps. I know how to make good decisions, and have done so to this point in my eLife.

2. Responsibility

Responsibility is a huge part of any kind of job. As a member of the USTC (United States Training Corps), I have received lots of experience. I have daily roll calls, tests, and completion of tasks that I am required to check daily, and I do so consistently.

3. Respect

I feel that I have a very strong and sturdy understanding of respect from my Training Corps experience. I’ve had no trouble respecting my higher officers. Saluting, responding, obeying - you name it. This also includes respect for our country and the importance of each step we take.

4. Activity

I am a very active citizen. Because school is in progress, my activity has decreased. Nevertheless, I am still on for at least an hour or two per day (on weekdays), which I feel should be enough time to perform well as a congressman.

5. Loyalty

I don’t give up. This is a huge asset for anybody, real life or eRepublik. After completing my time in the USTC’s Reserves division, instead of heading off to a different branch, I made the decision to stay with the USTC as an officer. This shows respect and responsibility, and also proves that I have endurance.

6. Goals

It really bothers me when I see candidates running at any level (party president, congress, country president) who set massive, unrealistic goals that have an extremely little chance of happening. I aim to set goals that aren’t too small, yet aren’t larger than realistic. I want them to be a slight challenge, yet not to the point of extremely high unlikeliness or impossibility. I promise to YOU - the community, the voters - to do everything I possibly can to improve this country - whether it’s donating ten dollars to a small organization - or donating 50 gold to a large one.

I feel that I am very strong in these six categories, and that I’m fit for the job.

Please be aware that I am being fully supported by the AMP (American Military Party) throughout this month’s campaign.

Part 3 – Conclusion

And now I conclude this presentation - hoping that each and every reader has gained at least a little bit from it. After looking at many other candidates’ presentations, I notice that most are much shorter than mine, and less in-depth or detailed. I have written such a lengthy presentation to provide the most detail and the most information to help you - reader, voter – to make the right decision.

And to bring this presentation to a close, I’d like to thank you for your time and remind you – make the right decision!
