Hi guys! I'm running for congress!



lol. Just kidding.

I'm not running for congress, partially because I'm not allowed, partially because I don't really like congress.

Anyway, I didn't just write this for a joke, this is a serious article. After the frankly disappointing amount of votes my last article got (mostly because we we’re invaded the next day so it was pushed out of the top 5) I wanted to follow through on my promise to do some sort of article around the congress elections.




This election is very interesting. This is mostly due to the loss of two of our regions, including our capital of Brussels. This means that there are only the ten congress places, in our new capital of Flanders, left to contend for.

This is both good and bad depending on how you look at it.




The downside to it is that there will be less congress members (obviously) which means two things:

First is the fact that there will be a lot more good candidates missing out on seats this month. This is unfortunate for them, but more important in terms on the nation as a whole is the fact that there will be less congress medals given out. This will mean that we will lose out on around 60-70 gold. Considering the amount of our reserves that have been spent on this war already, this is quite annoying to say the least.

It’s not all bad though.

For one, we’re assured that all the people we get in congress will be active (as you kinda had to be active to be able to time your candidacy correctly) and it will cause a much more interesting election. There are twenty-two people going for only ten seats. That’s a higher candidate/congress seat ratio that this time last year, and that was when half the world’s militaries were chasing a place in our congress.




This will be a good election either way and I’m defiantly looking forward to tomorrow (assuming the French don’t auto-attack Flanders).

There's still the posibility of me doing a review of congress, although I doubt I will. I have been thinking about doing a review of how this war has gone when it's finally over though which I think could work.

Anyway, I'll get to work on that, but in the meantime, have fun, stay in school and allways eat your vegetables.
