You may haven noticed it's Monarchy Week over on the eUK web forum.

This gives you, the eUK citizenry, the opportunity to select the eUK's figurehead of state for the next month. Who will be the standard bearer for all things eUK and demonstrate to our neighbours around the eWorld the kind of people we are?

As you will have noticed, we had a spot of bother with the uppity neighbours last month. This has caused diplomatic strain between our two countries, with Ireland edging closer to the enemy state of Emericka, and our previously inviolate border being threatened.

Collins, yesterday.

I say it's a time to draw a line under this unpleasantness and extend the hand (ahem) of friendship to our punchy olive chums out west.

St Patrick's Day Reconciliation

With the RL St Patrick's Day fast approaching, it's only fitting that our choice of new King should reflect the warmth an friendliness we still feel towards our immediate neighbours.

The man I have put forward for your kind consideration has overcome an unfortunate early Frenchness in his life to become a real British hero. Faced, as were the eUK, with an Irish invasion of his home soil, he fought off the Celtic challenge with his bare hands!

He has style. He has class. He's red, white and blue through and through. All things we expect of our head of state.
