Vote Citizen 6 in Hawaii

Day 1,252, 03:14 Published in USA USA by Citizen 6

Hello fellow citizens!

I would like to take this opportunity to ask for your vote for the congressional seat of the great state of Hawaii.

We all know the seemingly dire situation of the world at this time, and yes, some of you may feel that the situation is very bleak indeed. While I cannot say that my inclusion in the Congress will in itself cast back the invading hordes of Spain, Poland, and Mexico - not to mention Serbia, who even now stands poised to invade our sovereign territory - I can say that I will be right there with you through it all. Standing, and fighting, side by side, wherever it is that our great nation and its allies needs me to be. And more to the point, I have faith in our nation, in its ability to set aside petty differences (like those seen in recent weeks between the establishment and what was once known as the proud fighting forces of the USA Military), and to come together in true American Spirit and throw back the onslaught with the patriotic fervor that makes us such a great land.

But I understand that you may have questions about me, perhaps you don't know much about myself and what I have been doing with my time here in the New World. Its a fair enough question ... after all, should I win this election, it will be my first opportunity to serve this country in a political fashion. And so let me take this opportunity to give you a quick overview of who I am, and how I play the game. You can then decide for yourself if my experience merits my inclusion as your representative from Hawaii.

I am not a part of the establishment. The recent in-fighting in this country's politico-military hierarchy has left a bad taste in mouth. Too many egos, not enough compromise and hard work. At a time of INVASION, we certainly shouldn't be voting in reps who will likely continue the squabbling. Quite the opposite. We need new blood, and this is one of the reasons I wish to get more active in politics. Too much of the same-old, same-old. If you think it is time to have reps in office that are not locked into one particular clique or another, then look no further. I will serve the interests of this nation and that of Hawaii, nothing more, because I am not one of the in-crowd. I am a new face, simply hoping to bring new ideas and new energy to a stagnant electorate.

Outside of my gaming experience I have taken on a number of projects designed not just to advance USA interests, but also the enjoyment of gamers from throughout the eWorld.

Last month I became the FIRST EVER ambassador from the US to the small, oft neglected, country of Montenegro. Never before had someone from the USA even attempted to establish formal communications between our two countries. I am happy to report that I was successful in my task, and finally, we now have an embassy in that country. Just think what might have happened if we had been communicating with them a few months back. Who knows, perhaps they would not have swapped out regions with FYROM and allowed the eventual invasion of Italy during the Adriatic War, which as you may know, was one of the first European engagements that led us into World War V, the current conflict we find ourselves in. At the very least, perhaps we would have had some advance notice of the rising storm in that part of the world. Communication is key, and regardless of the outcome of this election, I will continue to build bridges between the USA and any foreign nation willing to do the same.

Beyond just the USA, I am also a wiki Historian, and am proud to point out that I have spent countless hours updating not only the USA History section of the wiki, but also that of many other nations, and have been updating the various Wars that are being fought even as I speak, including being the first editor to start the World War V wiki-project. Now I know it may not sound like that big of a deal to some, but the truth is that many players (old and new alike) get a great deal of their information from the wiki, and lets face it - the wiki is seriously outdated. I have been working tirelessly to fix this, and have met with some success. Fell free to check any of the following articles to see examples of some of the work I have been doing (sometimes with other great editors, but often as a labor of singular love).

Not to mention a reorganizing and much needed update of the USA History article.

As you can see, I spend a lot of my free time providing game content for not just players here in the USA, but for every person who plays the game. I am even listed on the wiki's Hall of Fame! with a 30 day score of over 151, placing me 8th on the list. Believe me, those above me are largely admins who's edits are not always content, just maintenance.

Needless to say, I do enjoy the game, and like you - want to have fun. This is why in all of my Congressional runs, I have a habit of doing a State Flag lulz, where if elected I will formally try to introduce a new flag for the state to which I have been elected.

For Hawaii, I thought it appropriate to change it it something more in-line with Hawaii's tradition of fighting back repeated invasion attempts. So without further ado ... here is the proposed new Hawaii Flag.

Hawaiian Flag - April 2011

If elected, I will put forth a formal change with the US government! Also note, that should you be a citizen of Hawaii, I will accept any and all new State Flag proposals to be put forth in a future term. Feeling creative? Wanna make eHistory? I'm here to help!

Other than that, I would like to make it clear that my office is always open to my constituents. Want your voice heard on Capital Hill? I'll carry your words to the US Congress and the President of the United States. Just let me know your concerns, I'll do my best to see that real progress is made!

Vote Citizen 6 in Hawaii!!

Fight on America! See you on the battlefield.
