Today I was thinking … what the MoMC have to do ?
Should I still wait for Naga to answer my article ?
Should I wait for Don Mogul to finish the races and games ?
Also, today, I was talking to Abu (kualker for the noobs) about … religions. This was strange, wierd.
There where lot of indians on the chat but just Rachit (a very special person) speak. No one else.
Few weks, months ago, Asmita tell us that is strange for a hindu to talk about beliefs with an “alien”, nomatter if he/she is christian, muslim or jews (I could add).
Still, today, I was the only one (and Rachit, that I mentioned before) to take a stand (factly to pursuit a debate).
Sure, it is difficult for ppl to understand what they did not think before (either because they did not faced the problems this way, either because they don’t think about those things) but I noticed (also, talking with friends) that the concepts are … uncertain for hindus too (karma, klesa, Purusha, Prakriti, etc).
So, I don’t know exactely, is it because u are just interested for XP in the game, or for having gold, or because u are not interested of the subject, or because u are not aware ?
But I like to have an answer. From you. All of you.
After all, it is about Bharat soul, spirit and pride.
So, I will know if I have to continue in the office as MoMC. And how to do it.
After all, what you wanted ?
And what you wanted from MoMC too
😃

Well i must confess it is the lack of knowledge that most of the indian schools are inclined towards westernisation!!!
and sanskrit is not taken as seriously as spoken english by parents!!!
Alas!! what a pity!!! i know not where my nation is headed!
Dhanyavaad dharma vardhan
great beginning mate..
first no one replies to kualkerr because he is a troll and no use talking to him about anything let alone on religion..i suggest u also do the same in future...
second hinduism is more of a social life than relegion...its origin is so old that things that u r talking about karma etc doesnt have any fix definition and hence means different things to different people...
Third i dont think there is any hold ups among hindus to discuss religion with ppl of separate beliefs..its just that like most people in most religion normal people are not so much into the thing deep.
and last when u mention india or bharat it entails all religion including hinduism, islam, christianity, sikhism, jewish, jains, buddhists etc as india is a multi religiuos country
I think we need some guys to go on writing articles irrespective of what others are doing to show the path...thats what momc may need to do...
I thank you too Suvajit
I think MoMC should pretty much be involved to entertain the people, and to bring people in on healthy discussion .... Talk on topics besides the game .... Encourage new players to play the game and become great writers ......
Thanks Shakti Saathi
vivarta greetings
>o macar in virtualitate 😃
Please do not wait for my article...am caught up in a multitude of things here. : | We(maniu and co ie., momc team) should work separately but co-ordinate among ourselves at the same time making sure that our media is never short of quality articles. Encourage citizens to publish articles and provide them incentives for sensible articles(hoping that the incentive would create some initial enthusiasm and may be later they will find an interest in media)
Also factually speaking, regarding the awareness levels on the concepts (of karma, prakriti etc), I think not many hindus today, are aware of them. Simply put "ignorance" or "lack of belief(as in my case)", anything can be a reason. Westernization, as pointed out by dharma is one of the reasons as well. I studied Sanskrit years ago along with many other lakh's of students for no use other than marks in the examination.
Calling them(followers of other religions or traditions) ALIENS just to cover up ignorance would be simply foolish and funny at the same time...*sighs* I really hope the character that you mentioned was just kidding. I certainly did not want my above statement to be directed at someone, but really sorry now that I have said it. Anyways, Kualkerr is not a troll, he's cool as fk(lol). I don't know about the discussion you guys had, so I cannot comment on that.
"After all, it is about Bharat soul, spirit and pride." ~ Yes in one way, if you were referring to 'ancient India' as "Bharat". But today, things are different...even just born children say dad and mom rather than naanna and amma in my mother tongue, forget about things you mentioned in the article. Such, is the condition that our society(I am talking about the hindus here who constiture 80% of country's population. Please don't count me in that 80😵 is currently in. I, for one, am ignorant partly...thanks to my disbelief in god and all the religions.
lol, i think i wrote an article in your article's comments... xD Sorry, for commenting too much...lol
Do u guys really believe the concept of religion running lives any longer? Then according to hinduism a barbers son can only be a barber and so is his son and soforth. You may call it religious tolerance but things are changing in a way that simply knowing Ones religion won't allow a persons survival and evolution is taking it's own turn. May be soon there will come a time when religion will just be confined to your name like how our surname has become. Once surnames decided what profession a person is into now they just remain like our vestigial part of our name
Morover knowing intricate things like karma prakriti etc in the contest you are referring to is like knowing bible from the authors perspective. Every Hindu knows what karma is in their own perception. It varies in what context you are using it. These words don't have exact equivalents in English. So it's not just fair to say someone did not respond when you raised the discussion. In a way it's the "karma of your discussion." May be nag can tell you what it means in our own mother tongue.
Sorry I have to use my bros account to respond here my system has problem and I almost became 3 clicker.....
Rajkiren
@rajkiren ~ "Morover knowing intricate things like karma prakriti etc in the contest you are referring to is like knowing bible from the authors perspective." ~ Not necessarily. Maniu, was just probably contemplating how come these things(i mean, the Sanskrit words that he used/studied) were more familiar to him than us!...lol xD
They will be soon lost in time(just how we lost sanskrit and they lost latin) and at some point in the future be confined to just libraries and a few scholars. And regarding religion, I do not know about the rest but I certainly do not support any religion.
This is what MoMC is about.
Encouraging debate. : D
+1 alector
MoMC is abt brngng life in eindia's dull media life....good start maniu bhai...keep it up...o7
@nag. So u r saying it's all about Maniu studying Indian culture. Better stop doing that Maniu. LOL... Just kidding. I wish there will be few people in India too studying our culture. Anyway it doesn't matter much life goes on. All the things are embedded into our daily life. Whether we know it as a subject or not we are what keeps the culture. I may not know it is the concept of karma but I know my present actions determine my future, in whatever way you put it. Whether it transcends generations is a thing I can't think abt.
Suvajit summed things up perfectly : )
I personally do not enjoy debating about religions at all cos there is no right or wrong and if there is a religion that i would enjoy following, it would be Buddhism, cos its so ... 'free' - allows a person to be himself without rubbish restrictions.
However, for me, the religion is my family followed by travelling, music, books and sports - things that I hold precious and that help me through tough times.
Wish I could think of writing something but somehow I'm not finding time for the game at all...(at the moment) - since my daughter's bday is coming up, there is a lot of work and then my excitement for the Metallica concert and the very first Indian F1 race! its a busy October for me!! : D
