Yes, the much maligned long awaited eRepublik PM game of Viking World is back!


It's AD 793, Lindesfarne has just been attacked, and there are for some reason loads of Vikings and three historically dodgy empires. As a fledgling Viking kingdom, it's your task to...errrr...idk


Here be the map, I'll stick yer little Viking nations on when the game starts. Red- Holy Roman Empire, Purple- Byzantine Empire, Green- Muslim Empire


How to Play

So, at the start of the game you'll have to pick which little blob of colour on the map you want, and you'll have to name it.

Then - in the same message (or not) - tell me in which direction you want to move in, give an explanation, and add as much fluff as possible. So if Rob wanted to move west he might say something like "There is a great problem in my country- the men and women run around in the street screaming, whilst the children are fortunately unaffected- we've run out of lube. We go west to the great lube sea, where we may bathe ourselves in all kinds of lubricant, before we slide south to strike at the soon to-be unholy Roman Empire."

Depending on how good your answer was, I will decide to add or take away numbers to your dice roll, and then I will roll an online die. This will determine how far you expand, six being the best and one being the worst. So, Rob's answer would probably get a two or summin.

Cool New Things

-Civil Wars Civil Wars occur if you roll a six on every one of your 'civil war dice'- dice rolled separately to determine whether you have a civil war and your nation splits up. You will all start off with three of these dice, whilst the Holy Roman Empire has two, as do the Byzantines, and the Arabs have one.

The more your empire grows, the less dice you will have. The civil war dice will roll every turn.
