Victory is Ours!

Day 1,231, 09:18 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Daeres

It is with great pleasure that we pronounce victory against the invasion of the South East of England, and the Polish, Hungarians, Irish and Spanish who wanted to compromise our territory. The man of the hour is the BWP’s own Alfagrem, who was one of the architects of the party’s manifesto and one of our most active members. He himself was responsible for around 4.5 million damage in the battle today. Before beginning the main body of the article, I’d also like to thank those from other nations who helped keep our island safe. Those known to me are fighters from Canada, France, America, and Japan. In particular I’d also like to thank Serbia, Turkey and Russia for supplying Alfagrem in today’s battle, and the French who joined us- the French have their own problems right now and helping us was very generous of them.

However, whilst I don’t wish to take away the afterglow of the victory, many searching questions must be asked here. Why exactly did we invade Belgium? Why did we fail in Flanders? Why did we initially do so poorly in the South East? Could we and should we have done better?

Woldy had pledged to invade Ireland when he was elected almost exactly a month ago. A while passed and it did not happen, but TERRA (nee PANAM) was newly formed and it was conceivable that we would have damaged it before it even began if we invaded a country traditionally aligned with Canada and the USA, two TERRA members. Germany then joined TERRA, which was the catalyst for the outbreak of the current war. We were assisting our friends internationally, but it felt like we should be doing something, and many people were expecting we would invade Ireland, especially when China, an EDEN country, invaded Japan. Instead, we invaded Belgium, which was voted for by the government but was never popular with ordinary workers and citizens as far as I’m aware.

At which point, NWO/ONE countries all declared themselves for Belgium, and this allowed them to pour their considerable resources into attacking the UK, and Belgium is now reduced to being the puppet of ONE. Having answered, hopefully, why we invaded, I must conclude with a question; why did it not occur to the current UK government that this eventuality was extremely likely, and did this not give ONE an opportunity to damage us that was not previously there?

We failed in Flanders because we were outnumbered, and often outgunned as well. Poles in particular poured onto the battlefield, and we were never even threatening to succeed in the invasion. Part of the reason we were outgunned is that we have recently lost some of our greatest fighters. But many of the fighters that remained were not taking part in the battle, and it seemed as though we never committed the greater part of our resources to Flanders. Indeed it was clear that much of the military in this country were unsure about Flanders, or just plain disagreed.

This is also why we initially lost 6 rounds in a row to ‘Belgium’ at the start of their counter invasion. Many of our best were not present, many of our resources were not fully mobilised. And it seemed as though we had assumed that we would lose. However, by this morning we had not only rallied but taken the lead, thanks to Alfagrem. Not only did he contribute his own considerable damage, he also seemed to make us believe that we could not only fight back but win, and so many of the UK’s fighters did commit to the defence of the South East.

Could we have done better? Alfagrem’s supplies came from the donation of generous individuals, his own immense resources, and other nations. Now it can be argued that Alfagrem didn’t end up requiring to be supplied by our own military, but the bigger issue is that surely our resources should have been concentrated on Alfagrem and people like him? The last thing our best tanks should be worrying about is whether or not they have the supplies to keep going. Our Manifesto pledges to increase and ring-fence the budget of the UKSF, and this is the perfect demonstration of why. The Belgian campaign so far also demonstrates why the BWP’s call for military reforms is not only relevant, but frighteningly prescient of the disorganisation and indifference that seems to have set in.

Could we have done better? Where were the immense resources that TERRA possesses? Spent on their own more major commitments, as they rightly should. We put ourselves in a situation where our friends were in a poor position to help. We are the ones who isolated ourselves, and we could have paid a much worse price than merely a failed invasion of Flanders. This is why our Manifesto pledge to stick by our friends matters, because currently the administration doesn’t seem to understand who our friends are, and how to act in order to let them keep our country safe.

Could we have done better? Yes, we think the UK can do better, we think the voters can do better, and we think the BWP can do better.

And if you think that we should do better, you know who you’ll be voting for in the next Congressional elections. Kick business as usual to the curb, vote for the BWP, the party so popular some tried to call us Nazis to scare away your votes.
