As President Auctoritas and I discussed how to best employ the office of Vice President for the good of the eUSA, we came to an agreement that I will be focusing my attention on domestic affairs.

I will lay out for all to see just exactly what issues I intend to address as your Vice President. But first, let me enumerate the various roles I have played, as it is my experiences that will inform how I approach the matters at hand.

I have extensive experience at the Political Party level as Party President x3 of the Federalist Party. Over the past 8 months I have been involved in every aspect of Party life, I have been through conflicts and cooperation with other Parties. I have engaged in recruitment, education, benevolence, contests, elections... the entire gamut.

I am in my third consecutive term as a Congressman. I've engaged in discussions about tax policy, immigration, benevolence programs, budgets, militaries and militias, Constitutional law, and more... the entire gamut.

I am also entering my fourth consecutive term in a White House Cabinet. I have read the PDB (President's Daily Briefing) every single day and commented when so inclined. I've learned the Executive perspective of PTO's, Party conflicts, Militia/Military relations, Defense issues, State issues, Media issues, Tech issues, Recruitment issues... the entire gamut.

I also sit on the Economics Council where discussions about the oddball economy of eRepublik sometimes focus on the minutiae, and other times focus on the macro forces at work.

I own enough companies to have full experience with our markets, I've engaged in the Monetary Market, and I've published numerous ideas of my own, some good some notsomuch.

I've spent time in a private Militia and a Government Military, both as a foot-soldier and in leadership.

All this to say that your President has chosen me because I am qualified to address the most pressing domestic issues of our Country and hopefully uncover some new ideas to improve the quality of eLife in these eUnited States.






To that end, I am forming the Vice President's Council on Domestic Affairs.

I will be hand-selecting participants from as wide a slice of eLife as possible.

We will be addressing such issues as:

1: The proliferation of USD and its inflationary effect on the Gold Market,

2: The "civility gap" that exists between the "eUS Military" and the Department of Defense,

3: Military funding policy from an efficiency standpoint,

4: Player Retention.



The Vice President's Council on Domestic Affairs will not have any policy-making authority. It is merely being assembled to address some topics in a "think-tank" type environment. We will hash out some proposals and offer them for public (or private if necessary) perusal.

If you would like to communicate your interest in this Council, respond by sending me a PM explaining your primary cause for concern in one (or more) of the above issues. Tell me what ingame affiliations you keep most fervently. And assure me that you want to participate in a Forum-based dialogue.

You may also choose to nominate someone else for my consideration.

I will be selecting Council members over the next several days, and I will be solely responsible for the composition and agenda of this Council.
