Recently, two criminals by the name of Vanek26 and Gnilraps attempted to DRAMATICALLY raise food and weapons taxes in the eUSA. Their sinister objective? to further consolidate the power of the government and the ruling eUSA politburo by using these new funds for their preferred militias at the expense of ROBBING the rest of the eAmerican people blind. Both of these men should be made an example of! They are nothing but corrupt thieves!
The food tax narrowly failed, but the weapons tax passed overwhelmingly. This will DRAMATICALLY raise the price of weapons in the eUSA. Shame on all the Congressmen who supported this shameless theft from the eAmerican people. Not only does Gnilraps orchestrate stealing political parties, but he steals money from the common citizens as well.
Vanek26 has been removed as Secretary General of TERRA and I will be taking his place. His criminal activities of trying to steal from the eAmerican people and his allegiance to public enemy Henry "Pfeiffer" Arundel make him unfit for duty. He, and Gnilraps will both be held on charges of Crimes against eHumanity both for their monetary crimes and their eggregious violations of the rights of countless eRepublikans.
These two should be publicly flogged and prosecuted for their crimes. Their attempt to raise income taxes on food, and their sadly successful attempt to raise income taxes on weapons will have a devastating affect on our economy and will further contribute to the consolidation of power by a few elite powers in the eUSA. This sets a VERY DANGEROUS precedent and we MUST resist it!

If this does indeed hurt the economy, please explain how lowering the taxes is helping it. A simple 'people will have to pay less for their weapons' will not suffice as these differences are nearly unnoticeable imo.

I'm no economist, but the fact that Gnilraps approves of this is great cause for concern. He has many lapses in judgement.

Lowering taxes would mean the average worker could spend more on either food & weapons or training - or save up for company upgrades.
Currently and eUS worker makes 0.132 Gold a day, a Polish one 0.2, an Indonesian 0.17, a Brazilian 0.22, a Hungarian 0.14.
In a few hours the eUS worker will only make 0.117 Gold. Even a worker in long-occupied France - who merely control a fifth of their original regions - will make more than that.
