Választások és egyebek

Túl sok ennyi szavazás. Minden hónap 5.-én elnöki, 15.-én pártelnöki és 25.-én kongresszusi választások. Havonta három választás. Tízezer embernél, ennyi régiónál, ennyi jelöltnél ez már-már folyamatos kampányt, szervezést, tervezést igényel. Mindamellett, hogy a folyamatos, több országbeli TO-k, ANTI-TO-k miatt a munka, a szervezés és a költségei is több mint megduplázódnak. De még ezeket leszámítva is sok.

Az elnöki munkára egyértelműen kevés az egy hónap, szvsz min. 2, de akár 3 is jó lenne, hogy valaki tényleg hosszútávú tervekbe merjen fogni, és ne kelljen közben állandóan kampányolnia. A kongresszusba is talán elhivatottabbak jelentkeznének, ha pl. nem lehetne lemondani, vagy csak egy hónap munka és/vagy két benyújtott szavazás, cca. 10 másik javaslatra szavazás, tehát némi elvégzett munka után. A pártelnököket havonta újraválasztani egyszerűen ostobaság, ezt nyugodtan elég lenne akár félévente is, a közbeeső időszakban meg polgármestereket választani, hogy a politikai élet még egy réteggel gazdagodjon (a bétában még voltak polgármesterek).

A pártelnökök jogköre, feladata jelenleg majdnem nulla az elnökjelöltek kiválasztásán kívül; beleszólásuk kellene, hogy legyen mind a párttagságba, a kongresszusi jelöltségekbe, mind a pártpénzek felhasználásába - viszont nem szabadna, hogy egymaguk megváltoztassák a párt nevét, logóját, irányultságait. Több lehetőség kellene, hogy a párt kezében legyen a saját propagandájára, elképzeléseinek leírására, a párton belüli kommunikációra - akár újsággal, akár körlevélben.

Az, hogy a pártelnökök, képviselők és elnökök nem utazhatnak külföldre, egyszerűen nonszensz. Szerintem lehetne nekik adni havi 5 alkalmat (akkor, amikor ők akarják), amikor is egy napon belüli időtartamra elhagyhatnák az országot - mindjárt több lenne a nem azonnal lemondó képviselő, ha legalább ennyiszer elmehetnének harcolni. Hasonlóképpen az egyes posztokért kapható xp-t és aranyat is differenciálni kellene, hogy valamennyire tükrözze a feladat nehézségét. Pl. pártelnök 20 xp - 5 arany; polgármester 30 xp - 5 arany; kongresszusi képviselő 30 xp - 10 arany; elnök 50 xp, 15 arany.

Szándékosan nem megyek bele az állampolgárság kérdésébe, mert felesleges arról beszélni, amit az adminok nem fognak megtenni sosem.

De a többiről érdemes lenne beszélni.


Elections and else

There are too many elections. Every month on the 5th it is presidential, on the 15th it is party president, and on the 25th it is congress elections. Three elections in every months. With ten thousand people, this many candidates and this many regions it requires an almost continous organizing, planning, campaigning. The also existing TO-s and ANTI-TOs double this work, and all populous countries have to take them into consideration.

For the presidential term the one month is woefully short. I would say that at least 2 month, but even 3 would be necessary for a president to really start long-term planning and not have to campaign during the implementation of it. Even congress would lure more conscientous candidates if they could not resign before presenting their two proposals and/or voting at least 10 other proposals, meaning a bit of work for them. The party president election is simply stupid in every months; it should be enough to do every half a year, and in the meanwhile elect majors that could colour the political life by adding a new level to it (I know there were majors in beta).

The party presidents now have a job of choosing presidential candidates and nothing else. They should have a say in the membership, the party treasury, and even the congress candidates - on the other hand they should not alone change the party's name, logo, attitudes. The parties should have more tools to advertise themselves and have an internal communication chanel too - either a paper os other system.

The fact that presidents and congress-members cannot travel abroad is a nonsense. I think they all should get 5 occasions per month (in the time of their own choosing), during which they could leave the country for up to a day - I guess it would reduce the number of congressmen who resign after a few days to go to fight somewhere. Also I would differentiate the amount of xp and gold that they get to better mirror the achievments; for example a party president should get 20 xp and 5 gold; a major 30 xp - 5 gold; a congress member 30 xp - 10 gold; a president 50 xp and 15 gold.

I purposedly leave the topic of nationality out, for admins clearly will not do anything in that issue.
