V for Victory: Update on Survey, CoT, and Albania

Well, I had fun today. I don’t know about you, but my shout wall seemed to agree. What I am referring to is the Resistance War in Albanian Coast for Albania. Albania has now managed to win back two of their three regions, and this one was spectacular. I would probably be mopey instead of happy if they lost at the end, but it was exhilarating to watch. Serbia put up a great fight, but Albania managed to squeak it out.

I glanced through the T5, and saw:

Vice President Largo, john nwp, Edlemen, Cubby, Molly Emma, Clorox2, Dave Brinkman, Bradley Wallace, Dukey Bear, Malarkey83, Leotrim93, BeronMUFC, Max McFarland, NSC Chairman ilphen, oldest player in D3 SoD Cromstar, Clydeo, Valdis, JCS member jadiv, and myself in the top 5 in various divisions and mini-battles, I’m sure I’m missing a few, but yeah, lazy. I personally got 2 BHs and did 73 million total damage.

Like I said, I think everyone had fun, and everyone worked together. JCS, ST6, EZCo, USAF, and on and on, everyone was there, with an exciting finish. And the divisions mattered, D1 and D2 came up big for Albania. I even went hunting for D1 players and got them over to fight. This battle is proof that age and size matters not, and all players can have an impact. Whether you were in D1, 2, 3 or 4, did 10 damage or 100 million, everyone contributed to this win.

I feel like a broken record, but seriously first time I’ve had fun on this game in almost a year probably.

So congratulations Albania!



In my last article, I talked about Russia. So far, the war hasn’t gone well for them, facing the might of TW0 with limited allied help. However, despite losing three battles, it hasn’t been as bad as it seems, as Israel Stevens’s article here, http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-en-ru-from-america-with-love-2226370/1/20, their victories have been more phyrric.

Final Topic: MU Survey

Hindsight might show us that we should have been more clear what ‘Independent’ or EDEN or CoT entailed, and even include an idk/indifference option. Major feedback was lack of such option and lack of info. Still, I think we got some pretty good info.
