USA Party Strength

Day 903, 19:18 Published in USA USA by Benedict James

I have just finished creating a spreadsheet which will automatically calculate for me the strength of political parties in the eUS. Just like the one I used to calculate the strength of political parties of countries all over the world, this one uses a "modifier" to adjust for the various strength levels of the party members as well as party recruitment (measured by calculating the levels of players 7-9, and then from 10-15).

The reason I do this is two-fol😛 First, I automatically discount anyone whose health is under 40. I do this to cut out the riff-raff from true party rankings. Second, party rankings are misleading insofar as they only count sheer numbers. Numbers are most important when voting, but here I am talking strictly about "strength."

"Strength" is an elusive term. For me, it means a function of recruitment and composition. These are the fundamental indicators of a strong party. A party might have high level players, but fail at recruiting. On the other hand, a party might have low level players but excel at recruiting. My chart attempts to give a basis for comparison between parties.

In short, you can use these numbers as indicators of where a party truly belongs in the rankings and where it may be headed. Without further ado, I give you the first taste of the BJ Party Strength Indicator.

APF 77
UIP 40
FED 37
SEES 26
LIBS 24
REP 22
SFP 9
TPA 7
BP 6
NoS 5

(SFP=Socialist Freedom Party)
(TPA=Technocratic Party)
(BP=Brolliance Party)

If parties wish to go higher in the rankings, they should focus on recruitment. Note too that APF is high in rankings mainly because a lot of players choose to join the #1 party. I have chosen not to adjust for this and simply remind you that you should take the high APF score with a grain of salt.

Thank you. Any suggestions would be welcome.
