Funding:
It has been a banner week for the medic program. Through the monetary market, total funding has increased from 1547 USD to 2600 USD. That includes the first round of gift purchases. Over 325 points of wellness have been gifted over the past week.
Gift Prices:
In order to prevent a spike in gift prices I've been buying when the market is low. As a general rule, I won't buy imports and I won't buy US goods when imports are cheaper on a per wellness point basis. Current price is ~1.75 USD / Quality. I call on US gift producers to drop prices, even in face of selling out of their product.
Gift Stocks
In order to prepare for war I ask all gift producers to hold back 10% of their daily production for the case that the US gets into a total war. A 1 month gift supply should be sufficient as far as stockpiles go. Obviously if you plan on upgrading in the near future, this should be avoided until after the upgrade.

I was kind of wondering about your script. It it capable of determining whether a person has already been gifted or not? I\'d think you\'d get some confused results out of it if it tried to Gift someone like me.
Unfortunately, no it can\'t determine if someone has been gifted (yet, it\'d be a lot easier than adding company quality, that has to be done by hand at the moment and will require a partial rewrite of the code and some more learnings of python on my part). I can add that at a later date. I generally don\'t have enough time to run the script every day, so I stock up on gifts while they are cheap and run the script when I have a full inventory of gifts. Then I go through gifting as many people as possible, gift for a few more days then repeat the process.
Very well. I expected as much, because I\'ve seen myself how coding with this crap can get so complicated so quickly.
Ouch, I don\'t like Gift Market very goodly right now.
I would just like to say this:
The gift program under it\'s previous leadership was un-publicised and small in scope. With that Pearl has done with it is purely fantastic and should bring us great gains as far as our National Wellness is concerned. Combined with fantastic ownership (such as previously pointed out that Inferno gifts his own employees on a regular basis to promote better productivity) should make us the leaders in this particular category.

I suppose I\'ll donate a low 100 USD to the cause. Until I\'ve figured out where I am monetarily and where I\'m headed, I\'m going to hold onto the rest of what I have.
