The US Green Party is preparing for election day. We have updated our party forum with some new style elements and a functional shoutbox. Jamarcus, our Party Secretary, is running on a USWP ballot in Missouri. We encourage everyone to support Jamarcus in his run for congress. Electing him to congress would make him the first Green US congressman, a milestone in our young history!

The US Geen Party is a political party dedicated to bringing social justice, non-violence and participatory democracy to eRepublik. We also strive to build a sound, sustainable economy with local, Green jobs.

@jason: Green jobs are local jobs. The US Green Party is a strong proponent of medium to high import tariffs in order to protect our own industry and our workers.

🙂 if protectionism means building a strong local economy who can provide every basic provision to its citizens, then yes, we are 'protectionists', we protect our own workers and companies

But we would also condemn American companies dumping cheap goods on foreign markets, if that would be the case. So, we try to combine protectionism and internationalism as much as possible.
