8th Cavalry Brigade, Company B

Dateline: Monday October 4 (Day 1049)
Location: On Special Assignment in Switzerland
Reporter: Captain George Armstrong "Old Man" Custer

The Cavalry Journal, A Quarterly Publication, circa 1928

The Cavalry Saber is looking for up to two permanent staff members.
This is a Senior Staff position and comes with the rank of 2Lt, upgrade to 1Lt based on performance.
The Cavalry Saber is also accepting written works from Troopers who may not wish to take on full time S-5 Unit responsibility.

The Saber is non-political; we cover Recruitment, Propaganda, Morale, History, and General Interest.
Many Troopers have their own newspapers, some material would be perfectly suited for duplicate publication in the Cavalry newspaper. Particularly popular are well crafted "first person reporter" stories, presented from the perspective of the soldier on the battlefield. Another popular format is the "5 Questions" or other short Interviews with Soldiers-- from Trooper to General to CJCS, readers enjoy a tight interview with an interesting subject.

United States Cavalrymen have worn a variety of uniforms throughout history.
