Updating the Irish Community.
The Irish Community
Hello to all you out there in Ireland.
I am writing to you tonight to let you know of a discussion that is taking place on the National Forum about some possible changes to the way we do things here at the Irish Community.

There are some structural changes I think should be made and the discussion can be found here.
I also think some changes should be made to the Irish Lottery. I think it could be held at least four times a month possibly eight times. This would give more people a chance to win. If we tie the prizes to the amounts brought in then if we can advertise the prizes may be larger. The discussion can be found here.
As I said these are proposed changes. If the people don't want the changes then they don't get made. But I think they will be to the benefit of the Community and the citizens of Ireland.
As a test of another idea I am working on for the Irish Community there was a small poll that gauges Presidential approval.
The results are
7% Completely satisfied with the job Patrick O'Leary has done.
27% Somewhat satisfied.
7% Not very satisfied.
60% Were Totally unsatisfied.
My idea is to have polls for all positions in the Irish Government. President, Ministers and Congress. These polls would be released before elections so that the voters can get an idea of how their fellow voters feel their officials are doing.
Well please check out the discussions on the forum. It is important.
Thanks.

WoW , 52 votes cast .... 60% totally unsatisfied ,President was Elected with 46% of votes so no big surprise with result .
52 votes is quite big for a "poll" here, The Article with the poll only had 13 votes n 16 comments lol Now thats a surprise
🙁
I will now cry myself to sleep...
Brilliant mate!
Ye really shouldn't release those figures as even a guideline to people's opinion, they're clearly not correct.
63 votes made on the poll which was advertised on an article which only had 13 votes 😑
They've obviously been altered/manipulated in some way :/
It's like the fecking Presidential Text in poll that was on rte earlier on in the week. Some people are just incredibly petty and will do anything to try influence others...
60% of Ireland are totally unsatisfied that we have a country on the map.
/me shakes head
Obviously that poll has been tampered - 63 votes is abnormal and the article which contained it had little publicity. Likely Brits or some spiteful twit in our ranks has been messing with it.
You are better redoing it, and adding "Put your profile link here" to verify. Rather than publishing it, and ruining the rest of the article.
I'll come back to this later when I am awake.
Unlike Patrick, my night was not filled with tears.
The result totally reflects my views and of many others i've spoken to the last weeks. You mad, Seanan?
Yes. 63 votes was not the total. That graphic was just a graphic. NOT related to the poll. MY bad. Sorry. Still the percentages were correct. The vote total was 18, not 63.
Sorry for any confusion. Anyway it was just a test. The profile links were included. Similar to the poll on the forum last month that had Patrick O'leary losing the presidential race by a large margin.
As I said this was a test and it's purpose was to make sure it worked and to fine tune it so that it is more accurate to the opinions of the Irish people.
"You are better redoing it, and adding "Put your profile link here" to verify."
That was in it.
Daghadha, why would Seanan be mad?
I didn't read into it that much, I just saw 63 votes and thought "naaaahhh". 18 is more believable, if just a bit small sample and with the link verification makes it legit. Grand work.
And yeah, Daghadha.. why would I be mad? I often do polls, and often see them abused.
Kurgan did not took part in this poll therefore it is not legit.
Honestly I didn't even look at the graph when I chose it. I guess I should have.
*slaps forehead.*
"You are better redoing it, and adding "Put your profile link here" to verify. Rather than publishing it, and ruining the rest of the article."
x2
There was link verification, just the sample size was smaller than the graph suggested
I'm awake now, but I cant see the discussion cos its on an external forum. I'm not a member there.
