Update

Day 599, 19:45 Published in Japan Denmark by Oraizan

This is just a quick update on some of the work I am doing.

Ambassadors
I have finally been able to put a better look on the forums for our Ambassadors. Japanese Ambassadors now have their own color on the forums! It will not over-ride congress or cabinet, but it will show a higher-ranking for those who are regular citizens. If you are above the position please still apply to the group, so it will be on your profile for future reference.

I just want to throw out a big congratulations to Reiji. He has done an outstanding job as Ambassador to China, and deserves for Japan to know it.

I am currently working on flushing out the active vs non-active Ambassadors. For you to gain your Ambassador status I must be contacted, or you must apply to the user-groups on the forums. 🙂

Empress Day
This is the official third Empress Day, and with so we must hold another election for Anime Empresses! Though we did not see a lot of Yui last term, this term hopefully the Empress will be much bigger. I will be holding a vote on the forum in the up-coming days. Anyone wishing to nominate their favorite character please do so in PM or comment here.

Anybody I have not contacted wishing to write an article for Empress Day feel free to contact me. Hopefully current events do not interfere with us having fun on Empress Day!

We are especially lucky, because Empress Day will be celebrated during the holiday in Japan called Ubon. It is a holiday for the citizens to celebrate their ancestors.

"Traditionally, lanterns are hang in front of houses to guide the ancestors' spirits, obon dances (bon odori) are performed, graves are visited and food offerings are made at house altars and temples. At the end of Obon, floating lanterns are put into rivers, lakes and seas in order to guide the spirits back into their world. The customs followed vary strongly from region to region. "

On Empress Day, let your worries float along with your ancestors back home. 🙂

Quote;
"You know a smile can relax hundreds of muscles on your face. Wearing a smile is a sign that you are the master of yourself. - During conscious breathing we recite 'breathing out I smile'. Just breathing and smiling can make us very happy, because when we breath consciously we recover ourselves completely and encounter life in the present moment."
A few quotes in it-self mixed together. Hope it inspires!

This is all for now; Japan always holding my flowers of love,
Oraizan~
