SolDiers Recruitment Update
I'm happy to announce SolDiers – the Sol Elite Mobile Force, has been established and we are now taking applications! I would like to also announce the current leadership.

Introduction to SolDiers

SolDiers is the name of the new elite mobile force for the alliance. The name is derived from the alliance name, of Sol, and the word "soldiers". This keeps the organization unique and identifiable.

SolDiers as it stands will be a full time professional force. It will be composed of three separate sections, with a total of forty soldiers. Requirements to join are high, but once you are in, you will be part of one of the newest elite forces in the country.

Current Leadership and Organizational Structure

The current leaders in SolDiers are three men with previous and extensive experience.

Supreme Commander: Liquid Oxygen

Deputy Commander: Pantherthug89

Quartermaster General: Jameson L. Tai

There are three Battalions, two of which are combat. These are Sigma and Marauder, and each is led by the SC, DC and QMG together. The one non-combat battalion is a support battalion, called Jackal Battalion.

Sigma Battalion – Elite Mobile Combat Battalion

Entrance Requirements:
Character Level: 18 +
Damage Rank: Field Marshal
Activity Level: Very High (Checking orders least 2-3 times a day, staying active on IRC channels)
Communications: IRC & Sol Forums

Marauder Battalion – Intermediate Mobile Combat Battalion

Entrance Requirements:
Character Level: 9+
Damage Rank: Captain
Activity Level: High (Checking orders at least twice a day and staying on IRC channels)
Communications: IRC & Sol Forums

Jackal Battalion – Non-Combat Support and Logistics Command

Soldiers who enter this battalion will become warrant officers in specializing in logistics (supply) duties, intelligence, and recruitment for SolDiers.
Entrance Requirements:
Activity Level: Extremely High (Constant contact via IRC and maintain updated forum chatter)
Receive Special Reference from: Country President, Sol Adviser, Minister of Defense, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Country Vice President or equivalent.
Landlocked personnel are also free to join Jackal Battalion, but will not fight in military operations if being landlocked prevents from participation.

You MUST have citizenship of a Sol Alliance member state to join.

You may join if you are not currently in your nations national military and if you are, you must have your commanding officer send a letter of written permission to join SolDiers. SolDiers is a full time commitment like any other military force, so you will be expected to follow and execute orders in a professional manner.
