Upcoming Congress Elections

Day 2,831, 11:00 Published in Canada Israel by cyber ninja

Hello eCanadians! As you know congress elections are coming up. For those of you who aren’t affiliated with the top 5 parties, or just want information on all of the parties and whether to vote for them, this might be a good place to start! This is not officially part of my “This Week In Erepublik” series or my “Mid Week Stats” series, but they may be cited throughout this article.

I’m going to be using acronyms for all of the party names, so I will make sure you know which is which here.

CPF - Canadian Progressive Front
RW - Rylde’s Whorehouse
PFC - Parti Francophone Canadien
IP - Imperial Party
BAL - Beaver Action League

Alright, now onto the article!

This chart is not affected by the popularity of a party or the number of congressmen who got into congress. Every party has the opportunity to score between 0 and 100%. With that said, we can clearly see two very strong parties, two decent parties, and one that is, simply put; trash. We see already a big candidate for the vote; RW, with 76% congress activity. This is followed by CPF with nearly 50%. Obviously these are good numbers, but with new or different congressmen being voted in this could change, so let’s move on.

Since the political views of each party has become somewhat irrelevant in decisions, I think it’s important to look at the unique people each party has to offer. I’m going to split off into each party’s notable people.

CPF

DMV3 - He was our country president before Molly Jo, and he handled the country confidently, and is very fit in the political sense.

Exalted Druid - He is the current PP of CPF, an administrator on the forum, very active, and currently dMoD.

Aries Prime - At the time of writing he is not a proposed congress candidate in CPF, but is still significant. He is currently the VP of Canada, as well as MoF. Very active

Many of the others running with CPF are significantly active and have a lot to bring to the table. CPF has also not had any significantly corrupt or bad congressmen so far.

RW

Rylde - He is the current PP of RW, always has much to say in politics, and was once a dictator of Canada.

Mann551 - A quite active congressman, who also ran for presidency this past CP election.

Darth Zigus - Currently MoD, also quite active.

Muglack - An extremely active congressman, currently holding the speaker position in congress.

RW’s congress team has proven itself especially in the last month to be superior in activity, and has not had any significantly corrupt or bad congressmen.

IP

Punisher1389 - Very firm opinions, and also quite active.

Molly Jo - Even though she can’t run for congress, she is still still from IP and is very significant in politics.

IP’s congress team is not as active as the two previous, but can be active when needed or called out on it. No significantly corrupt or bad congressmen.

BAL

Maijal - An active congress member, also PP of BAL

BAL is the least active other than PFC, who I saved specifically for last for that reason. BAL also ran GBR_Blue, who was withdrawn from congress for allowing someone citizenship in the country to get the “Legend of Canada” rank. This does not directly reflect the party’s intentions, so should be viewed lightly in that sense.

PFC

PFC’s members are not active in congress, and only 1 vote was even cast from them this month. None of them are significant in eCanadian politics.

Concerning Garry Carter, the one who made an illegal proposal and wanted to abolish the eCanadian forums, he ran with CPF, but is no longer affiliated with them.

My best advice is to vote for RW. They are the most active party by far, the party brags some very good candidates, and is not corrupt in any way. If you choose not to vote for RW, vote for CPF, as they are the next best alternative. Do not vote for PFC, they have proven themselves as a waste of space in congress, and thus should not have the privilege of wasting another significant amount of congress spaces. I’m not trying to be mean, but they are just not fit to be in congress.
