"Where are we?"

"Uhh.. We're on the eastern part of Surterra Forest, near its borders. We are exiting the forest."

Rielle was relieved to know their location. She was unfamiliar with the place. It was good that Chris answered her.

John was still silent while trekking. The tense night he had last night was, well... tense. Kelsea kept eyeing him. Rielle glanced at him from time to time. Chris looked worried at him. He walked by his side.

He spoke softly. "You alright, man?"

"Ye--yeah.. Yeah.. I'm good. Its just.. Man. I tried so hard to turn back from my past.." John replied.

"Yeah. I understand. Look, man. I thi--"

"Guys." Kelsea interrupted.

"Yeah. Yeah." Chris responded in agreement. "We can feel it, too, Kelsea."

"Melina. Come out."

"You know her, Kelsea?" Chris was surprised.

"Well, yeah. We had a kind of 'history' two years back."

Suddenly, a ball of fire went towards Kelsea.

"Ice Wall!" Kelsea commanded an ice wall to come out of the ground. The fire ball hit it and both elements evaporated in thin air.

"Nice to see you again, Kelsea. And oh, you have friends with you." A lady in red robes and with red hair came out of the trees. She had seductive eyes with red irises and had a white complexion. She had, at her back, 2 other people with red robes. They wore their robe hoods in such a way that their faces cannot be seen. All you can see inside those hoods were a red glow that came out of their eyes.

"Melina. I'm guessing you've come for her?" She shielded Rielle with one of her arms. John moved in front of Rielle and Chris positioned in front of Kelsea, battle-ready.

"Oooh.. Bodyguards! Fun, fun, fun!" Melina taunted. "This is all you could afford, judgemaster? Puny mercenaries? Finish them off, mages." She smiled. "Burn them to the ground."

Chris and John smiled.

The mages ran towards them, fists aflame.

Chris and John charged against them, too.

Blood will flow. Ashes will fly.
