Dear Belgians,
As you have noticed Flanders is no longer a region of the UNL. Some people wanted Belgium to get "freed" from the Netherlands. The real Belgians were never asked if they wanted this.
Of course there have been discussions between the Belgians and the Dutch about the merger 7 months ago. But both sides didn't think it was wise to split up again for the moment.
Unfortunately today Flanders got her independence back through a resistance war.
Unfortunately? Yes. You might have noticed that there are no BEF and no jobs. There is food on the market but most citizens can't buy it because there is almost no BEF to buy. The BEF that's on the monetary market costs a lot of gold. When this independent Belgium was made with starting to negotiate first jobs could have been there and enough BEF. But now it is just made independent because EDEN forces wanted to attack a PEACE-nation and citizens are the ones that pays the toll.
Why a UNL Party?
We believe that a free Flanders will fail for the moment. As we said before there are no jobs and there is no BEF. Without BEF we will never get companies, and create jobs. Furthermore the only raw in Flanders is medium Grain. There is absolutely no infrastructure (hospital) so wars/training wars aren't really good for us.
Our party will help all real Belgian citizens who need food (not only Q1 food), we can't help you with a job for the moment but we are looking for solutions for that problem.
Congress
Tomorrow we will have the first congress elections in months in Belgium. There are several parties who are going to run for congress. We believe that there are two parties which will be good for Flanders, UNL party and PEACE ATO.
A vote on our candidates and the candidates of PEACE ATO will be very good for Flanders, we are not willing to let the Spaniards or the Romanians take over Flanders. Real Belgians should make the decision what should have happen with Flanders.
Our parties have some French, Dutch and Belgians members. Surely people will say that the UNL party or the PEACE ATO party will get Flanders back to the UNL. We feel that the REAL Belgians should decide that themselves.
Belgians, please vote for what is the best for Flanders!!!

lucay, even Belgians fought against the resistance. Ofcourse you did, because you have your own interests in a free Belgium. You don't care for what the Belgian people want, otherwise you would have discussed the situation with them.
Look at the Belgians replying to this and other articles.. all are AGAINST you and your actions. Go create your Eden outpost in Romania.

Uhm guys, this article is so full of nonsense it's getting ridiculous.
I put Q1 food on the market, and there is enough BEF for sale to buy it. Once we have got a working Congress in place, we'll drop the minimum wage to 1 BEF, which will allow The Group and Seal Team 6 to open up their companies to the public (yes, we have bought companies here, which means we are here to stay and help things improve).
You cannot expect us to establish a fully functioning economy in one day, even God needed 6 days to create the world, not to mention the billions of years needed to evolve intelligent lifeforms. Give us a break, have some patience, and be realistic.
I've already put food and BEF on the market, in a couple of days we'll have jobs, and things will improve fast after that.

Who asked you to free Belgium in the first place Habraka? I know the Belgians didn't.
Even the people who initially where against the union are 100% pro union so where did you think you had the right to break a good union?

Uhm Deviltje, if you had kept an eye on the BEF the past few weeks, you would have noticed that the price went up as far as 0.9 Gold for 1 BEF. I've personally bought quite a bunch of my BEF for 0.035 or more, so at most, I'm breaking even right now.
