Unity. What is it? Who is the man behind the "machine"? What is their ultimate goal? I'm sure these are questions that most of my fellow-citizens have.
I don't pretend to have any answers, but I will consolidate what information I have obtained, and lay out my goals concerning Unity.
What is Unity? My impression of Unity is of anything but UNITY. From what I've picked up from conversations and newsletters, Unity is an organization that has infiltrated several, if not most, of the leading political parties, and is holding the entire eUS population as, essentially, hostages.
When faced from a major threat from the outside, as we currently are, unity is the answer. But not the Unity organization. They are neither patriots, nor upholders of true unity.
Who is the man behind the "machine"? No-one knows, apparently. Which, fortunately for him, or possibly her, is currently their greatest asset. When the enemy is faceless, you cannot identify and destroy him. As has been proved over and over from history, destroy the leader, destroy the following. In very few instances have the followers been successful in holding together after the leader was gone.
What is their ultimate goal? I don't know for certain, but based on current events, I'd say one of their goals is definitely the destruction of eUS. During this time of crisis, I'm only hearing conflicting orders and uncertain objectives from the leaders.
What do I intend to do about this? Well, first of all, my #1 goal will be to uncover the identity of the man behind the machine. I don't know yet how I will do it, but somehow, someday, and with a bit of luck, I may have an answer.
Secondly, I intend to actively involve myself in the political scheme. If there are any resistance forces against Unity, I will investigate them, and determine if I can whole-heartedly throw in my lot with any of them.
Thirdly, I intend to defend our homeland. And I hope many of my fellow patriots will join me. What good does it do us to strike the enemy in his homeland when he has a chokehold upon our own country? Unless you're capable of destroying major targets, not much.

This is how the Unity thing works.
Months ago it became obvious that Ronald Gipper Reagan might be elected president, and his party might elect a lot of congressmen. Substantially all of the eUSA team were and are very worried about this. There evolved a broad consensus that a single candidate for president should stand against him or his proxy. The eUS team stood in Unity. It has done so ever since.
There are downsides. However you appear to have utterly misunderstood recent eUSA history. That is understandable since you are a very new player. The issue of "Unity" is multi-layered. Give some thought to reading through some of the articles about its evolution over these past many months: that will give you a context within which present commentary will be better understood.
Welcome to the game.
Oh.... another piece of personal advice, though few would agree with me: Team eUSA is a team, not a country. Hence, concepts such as patriotism and homeland are not useful. Kind regards
