United We Stand, Divided We Fall

Day 804, 10:38 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by UKRP Headquarters
In an address to the UKRP on 30th January, Steve Steinbeck urged the party to pull together following a difficult week. This is a copy of the original address - the UK and not just the party needs to know that there is no direction but forwards for UK Reform.

It has been a bad week for the party.

On Monday, we achieved only 10 seats in Congress, less than we had expected and with a clear minority compared to the TUP.

On Friday, the party's most dedicated, active, hardest working member decided to leave us. It was a shock to us all after his outstanding service to the party and his driven co-ordination during the Congress elections. Jamesw, you will be missed dearly.

And now, there is rumour that our Party President Raziel faces the prospect of permament suspension from the game following a false accusation. This ultimately leaves our party in a stalemate and in a fog of doubt and anxiety.

We must not show weakness. We must not show signs of regression. We must stand strong together.

Over the coming week, as we wait for Raziel's fate to be decided, the party needs to reorganise to stay on its feet. This means a drastic increase in activity, hard work and motivation. To those reading this, I urge you to ask yourself - "Am I active enough in this party?" Please, I call out to those members who simply browse our forum but don't post... voice your opinion, let yourself be heard and integrate yourself with this brilliant community. Even if you feel your opinion has already been voiced, just let us know you are here, that you are working with us - please, post here regularly and you will make many new friends - I promise.

With jamesw gone, and with an influx of BEP members, we need to think about Congress earlier this month. But we cannot do that until we have recovered and grown stronger. We can only grow strong through unity.

Don't fear, my friends, because the party has recovered many times before and we have had many successful months. But now is the time for us to truly move forward. This week has been a wake-up call. Only together can we proceed, we cannot simply rely on the elite few to guide us.

Stand united with us and we can bring true reform to the eUnited Kingdom.

The reform we believe in is beneficial change to our society. The country can only prosper through maximised liberty, through parity and rights for all, through independence and individual responsibility. This can be achieved through nonpartisan collaboration, where we unite as one to work together for the good of our country. That is true reform. That is the UK Reform Party.

We are the United Kingdom Reform Party.

I felt the need to publish this for the entire country to read. There is no reason why this should be hidden away. We are not ashamed to admit we are facing difficulty - but we will pull through, just like this party always does.

Yours,
Steve Steinbeck
