Understand Your Candidate Ohio

Day 393, 18:15 Published in USA USA by GoBucks

Greetings fellow citizens of Ohio. I write to you once again under tough times, filled with much controversy. Those that know me well know that I am not a man that is going to point fingers, I am going to take action and do what is best for my nation. I am a man that listens, cares and is ready to do what it takes.

Just one month ago I was here asking for your vote. Obviously I was defeated and I hope to turn this defeat into success this election. I have not changed much, I am still the same guy. I have gained some experience and support and talked to many citizens over the past month. I would be more then happy to hear your voice and represent you politically.

My experience is vast. As you know I have served in my party as Recruitment Director and today as the Director of the PAC. Many of you disregard in party experience because you wonder how it can help a person grow as a candidate for Congress. Well I will tell you this I have learned lots about resolving disputes, turning ideas into action and most important of all, how to work with my foes as if they were my very own friends. I have also been lucky enough to serve Ohioans directly, I was indeed your final mayor and I have yet to hear a single person call me out for ignoring them and not doing the right thing as a mayor. For you first time voters, I am probably best known as the man who organized and ran the Columbus Rebate, which put money into active citizens pockets for the benefit of our region. I was also elected a Congressman, wherein I voted on every policy and did my part to vote in the best way possible for Ohio.

Below I will be making an attempt at a complete platform, I know I can't make everyone happy but please call me out on anything you disagree with and I will have a discussion with you. If you think I missed a topic please let me know.

My Platform:

Defense System:

I do not think it is pertinent that Ohio receive a defense system. We are in a region with only one bordering nation, Canada. In no way has Canada presented a threat to us and they are one of our closest allies so I think it would even be offensive to Canada if we had a Defense System here.

Hospitals:

I believe that Ohio deserves a hospital of greater level eventually but it is only fair to distribute Hospitals in order of population of a state. Therefore its only fair that we give the biggest states the funds for a Q5 hospital. This way less citizens have to move at a time and the army doesn't have to waste money on wellness and moving tickets to focus efforts on weapons. We were blessed with a Q3 hospital and I think that should satisfy us for now, if I see that the Ohio Population is interested then I will begin thinking of fundraising for a Hospital. It would be greedy of us to expect a Q5 hospital paid in full as we have 260 citizens while other much larger states don't even have Q5 hospitals.

Taxes:

Taxes are one of the most confusing parts of the game. They determine so much about the costs of goods, the value of our currency and many other intricate things. I think the best stance on taxes is one that is very flexible. Our ability to maintain fair taxes depends on current market trends and what we need to do in a greater spectrum to keep the U.S. economy strong. We need to have an economic team constantly researching trends and fluctuations to quickly change taxes in times of crisis.

War:

I believe that war is beneficial to our economy but war needs to begin on necessary grounds. I think if we really wanted war for the purpose of boosting the economy we should see about war games with an allied country as a method to not even boost our economy but train our soldiers. Anytime before we go into full scale war we need to know the purpose of that war and know that there is no other option. An attempt at a treaty needs to be made before we take direct military action upon a country.

The War on France:

This topic is a very intricate one that goes beyond anything the average citizen knows. I do think there is a lesson to be learned from this war, I have yet to determine what that lesson is as things change daily but I know its coming. Within my term I would like to see an end to this war. We have made our point and if the purpose of the war was truly to free Switzerland we need to sit down with Swiss and French leaders to make a proper and just treaty that will allow the Swiss and French to regain their regions. It is when we hold these French regions that our efforts to free all countries become hypocritical, not to mention our whole reason for beginning the war. When we attack again is when the French decide they don't want to free Switzerland.

Soldiers:

No matter my opinions on a war it will always be my goal to help the soldiers. Without them we would be nowhere we would be no one and there would be no war. The day we let our soldiers down is the day we let America down. As a platoon leader I know the importance of a organized military and organized support for soldiers. Therefore all soldier should be regarded as a very important citizens and their needs heard at all costs..

Foreign Affairs:

I think the eUSA needs to be far more active in creating relationships with foreign countries. We need to work with ATLANTIS in expanding our alliances to up and coming nations in order to completely maintain a powerful alliance. I believe in an open door policy but in terms of enemy nations becoming allies, they must prove themselves first.

Minimum Wage:

The current minimum wage is doing justice in my opinion. I think the minimum wage needs to be monitored like tax rates and when the time comes, if necessary, the minimum wage should be adjusted in terms with economical trends.

Citizen's Fee:

I think the current citizen's fee is at a great balance. It is beneficial to new citizens but is not too high in the event that the citizen quits and the money is lost. If a citizen is struggling financially I believe the army has great rates at which it pays to assist these citizens.

Transparency:

I believe that transparency is the key to any government that is of the people, by the people and for the people. Therefore I will make it my utmost goal to post an article about my voting and the happenings of the nation.

The People:

It is my firm belief that the people are the true deciders of their representative and his actions. I guarantee that I will listen to each of you and any claim that you will have. I am willing to change a few things here and there so that your voice can be heard. I am not just representing my self or my party I am representing the people of Ohio and it is their ideas and thoughts that I should have in mind at all times, and it is their ideas and thoughts that I will have in mind.

I look forward to a great election once again and hope to be representing you in Congress. Please be sure to spare a few minutes this Christmas to come out to vote so your voice can be heard, I know that is a lot to ask as Christmas is a busy day for many but democracy is counting on you.
