Under Occupation

So, we enter an era of occupation. The game is afoot and so just got interesting.

As a sovereign entity, we are dead in the water until we liberate our land and since the game rules changes concerning RWs that job just got a lot harder. We have a great many RWs to win before we can start to rebuild our economy, and it would be foolish to make the job harder by having to fight, even for just one territory, more than once.

Without a congress, the leadership of eCanada is in the hands of an unelected clique: players who control those various corporate entities allowed by game mechanics (many of which, as a noob, I barely understand).

As I see it, players like myself have a limited number of options facing them.

First. Do nothing and hope things get better. This is not an option for me!

Second. Wait for two weeks and see if the eCan "government in exile" can adequately demonstrate a capability of leading us in a meaningful and successful resistance to recapture all of our lost territory.

Third. Emigrate. Where to? The eUSA would be my first choice. Not because I see it as a natural home from home, but because all the alternatives -- UK, Ireland, New Zealand -- are, as far as I can judge, even smaller and more impotent than eCanada has proven to be. Besides, I judge that from inside the US I could have the ambition to foster support for the liberation of the land of my ebirth.

Fourth. Just quit playing this damn silly game .... I'm not a quitter, but honestly! Right now this seems like a very sensible and attractive option.
