TWO will survive [Slovenian CP]

As I quietly take a gasp of air and start pouring my thoughts onto this blank paper I want you to think about what has been occurring around eRepublik in the last few days. Not only what has been occurring, but your role in it. Did you do anything to prevent, fix, improve the current situation? And now while you have answered the question, ask yourself again why you decided to act as you did. Was it laziness, decisiveness, was it anything else? See, we might or not agree on many things, but I for one do things because I have a feeling they can be changed. Many of you give up hope at the first sight of bad news, I say that is when your true character shows up. Hell, I say that is a necessity for an individual to mature, to become a great leader, face perilous times head on.

And dear friends of mine, and enemies. Enemy is a strong word, I rather say we are just located on the opposite sides in a virtual game, having enemies in a virtual game is not what I specialize in. We all fight for our own causes and the ones that are the best prevail. Simple. Are you the best? As long as I will be here with the help of my Foreign affairs team Ap4rTheAd and 0rinda, I believe you will not be the best, dear CoT. Slovenia will fight for the sake of preservation. Hell, not just preservation but revival of a fallen giant. As a Phoenix it will once more rise and claim the skies where it used to dominate with sheer presence.

Am I getting too sentimental? Good. That is precisely what I plan on doing. Positive emotions, nostalgia are brought up for the sake of good memories from the past.

I believe many of you that will read this might agree Slovenia has committed some mistakes in the past and will continue doing so - without any doubt. But we have done a lot more to learn from them and begin a new era of mutual cooperation.

Yes, we tend to have a decisive pose, we never bow down and we like to point out what is wrong. Although not to undermine our friends, but for the sake of improving it. If anyone has problems understanding that, so be it. Do you want TWO to survive? If so, why do you plot against it? Think what kind of an opinion others might get about you in eRepublik community. If something is wrong, do something and not just wait for others to do it instead of you.

Sure, call TWO a damagehood. May I refer to the recent articles from Croatia and the attempt at the alliance called Imperium? Wasn't this thing precisely something we might relate purely to damage? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I often heard phrases "traitors and we will never fight alongside with you", now all of a sudden people are willing to change that and once more put their differences aside and ... form a damagehood. I dislike populists, I dislike manipulators and I strongly despise hypocrites. Imperium includes everything of the above.

TWO will survive if only country leaders show some will to improve things and get a damn spine and speak up. In a world where smaller countries must fight for survival of big alliances something is not right. Something in the leadership spots of bigger nations smells of decay, corruption, immorality, personal interests. And once you mix that together in the alliance HQ, it smells of fertilizers. Getting involved in that is a big ordeal, not a pleasant thing to do. Some of us decided to do it for the sake of showing something can be done if only one shows some willpower to do it. And remember: it will be done.

I might not be the best, most manipulative, most demagogic, the biggest charlatan. But I sure do know I am a decisive individual willing to change things for the better. Where do you stand on this?
