Turn the Tide!
Quicksilver
The ocean has receded lately, leaving the shore open for all comers, leaving the space for them, the land, and all the glory of the battles to reap. The sea is still great, make no mistake, its power is hidden but behind tha calm facade its force is still strong, its pride is still great, its weapons are not lost just put down. One can always feel the power of it, its calm, unassuming, quiet strength that lies behind - and its flashy and vainglorious - but mighty powers when they choose to go to battle.
But now the sea has internal turbulences, the whirlpools of contest, power and rule - it makes it turn inwards, it makes it care less for useless regions of the shore, it makes its allies worried and the enemy confident. People come and people go, egos are bruised by passing days, slights and perceived wrongs - but the strength of the ocean remains.
It will sort out its turbulences, and it will pour its might again to the shores, drowning all the overconfident, haughty conquerors, who thought the moments of withdrawal as final decline, reclaiming all that belonged to it and conquer all that it wants.
Turn the tide then, turn outwards again, leave the whirlpools of discontent behind!
Be the mighty ocean again and drown the shores with a mighty tidal wawe!
No conquerors can stand against that power.
"Do not go gentle into that good night...
Rage, rage against the dying of the light'
/Dylan Thomas/

Turn the tide Indonesia!

THIS IS WHERE WE FIGHT
THIS IS WHERE WE WIN

quicksilver, i see the poetry is strong within you, again 🙂
it brings back memories 🙂
as for all of you fellow enemies, fight hard, a victory is only as good as the strenght of the opponent.
see you on the brickfield 🙂
Come on Indonesia, you can do it!
the bounty of tide is great
Nice words. 😃
PEACE THROUGH POWER
POWER THROUGH PEACE
THIS IS WHERE THEY DIE
You know ghishae, there is a (fantasy) book that I read a while ago (in Hungarian), in which the ultimate fighting is described as the duellist alternately reciting a poem's lines while fighting with swords and have to match the movements with the lines. I think I would like it to be implemented sometime. 😛
Respect!
Quick, let me guess: Raoul Renier?
