Bonjour and Greetings my fellow eCanadians

I am proud to say that this April 5th I will be seeking your vote to become eCanada's next Prime Minister.

Along with this announcement I have prepared an overview of the platform I will be running under. It is short and sweet......(as far as platforms go) and I will be expanding on these ideas and sharing with you all the full extent of my vision for our nation.

Greetings my fellow eCanadian citizens. Today it is with great pride that I announce my official candidacy for the office of the Prime Minister of eCanada. I have had the pleasure of serving our nation in many different rolls over the last near year in eRepublik, and I now ask you to follow me into our new era with V2 approaching.

As V2 is nearly upon us, preparations for the changes that are coming become essential to each nation. Playing into strengths while avoiding weaknesses will be key to keeping eCanada one step ahead of our would be enemies.

Training Wars

The CAF and all its divisions are a huge strength to our nation. What we lack in quantity, we make up for in quality and heart. We can pack a stronger punch than other nations can who sport more active citizens, and as such we need to keep this train rolling. In preparation for V2 I propose holding off on any “wars” that could turn the favor away from us when the change occurs. I would like to give our military minds time to become accustomed to the new features so that we might better plan out strategy and ensure eCanadian victories. In its place, I want to organize a continuous “brolliance” training war to keep our soldiers and citizens fighting and ranking up.

Rank Up Program!

As our military men and women grow closer to that next level, whether it be moving from General to Field Marshal, or from Lieutenant to Captain, each rank up offers a stronger fight to that individual. I propose a program to help soldiers who are close to achieving their new rank get it a few days faster by offering better quality weapons to them. On a percentage system, each active soldier can apply to get these weapons to rank up days faster, facilitating higher damage producing soldiers sooner than they would have in the past.


Division of Roles (thanks to Banach)

This may be something that the high command is already tossing around behind the scenes, but I would like to see a spread sheet set up allowing, command, officers, high ranking soldiers and the rest of the CAF to sign up for the new posts that are coming out. We must be prepared for anything, and a well balanced military that consists of tanks, choppers, artillery and infantry will be important. While I would want to oversee this, I would of course allow our military leaders to take point on this project.

Balance of Government Companies

Speaking of keeping things balanced, the government must keep it’s affairs in order and ensure that any companies going through a “change” in production must be divided up to ensure that we will have stock of everything we need. For example, our two gift companies can’t both be made into tank producers. The minister of industries will have to keep a close watch on his flock in the coming weeks.

GRP (Governmentally Regulated Prices)

Now this may come with some heat, and that’s fine, however in this game, some are business owners and ALL are consumers. By stockpiling goods and putting them out onto the market at set prices the government can help to curb inflation of prices and keep the consumer happy. Everyone will make money if we are all buying goods, it’s when prices get out of control that the consumer stops purchasing and then we all lose money in the form of wages and profits.

Jobs for Everyone

We need to keep up with this to ensure that all new eRepublik citizens who chose eCanada as their home can work and train. While I understand that new citizens aren’t the best producers at work, they are essential to the growth of our eNation and the game. The government will continue to provide these entry level jobs that keep young eCanadians employed, interested and engaged in the game. Baby boom is great, however population retention is huge.


Foreign Affairs

I believe that our fellow “brolliance” and Eden nations are our most important allies and that our relationship with them is of the utmost concern. I also believe in having respect for our enemies. The foreign affairs department will ensure good communication between us and the rest of the eWorld.

Economic Stabilization

By keeping the CAD stable and prosperous we can help keep our exporting profitable. I propose we lower the value of the CAD just slightly to be close to or on par with our “broliance” nations, and our EDEN allies. This will allow us to take advantage of our Titanium and the export posabilities to our ally nations.

Titanium Protection

I believe in the protection of our resource and not its rental. We do not “rent” high iron regions from Greece or Spain, we import. While we realistically only “need” one region, having control of both puts us in an advantageous position for export. Because of this, I say we hold them and defend them and the income they will provide us. ( Unless Spain is looking to swap…… I joke)

Strategic Reserve

Since my last run against the former PM William Duncan, I have advocated for a reserve of CAD and Gold to be put aside for V2’s coming. This is still in need of being done. For the eCanadian government to react to any and all situations that may arise, we must be proactive in this measure. As V2 approaches, Gold will be bought off the market as a safe investment over currency. If the government were to put some away, it could be put to many uses, some more important than others.

National Unity and Inclusion

For those of you who know me and my first run for the CP, the principle of inclusion and unity isn’t new. My eCanada includes everyone, and for us to be strong and prosperous we need all of our citizens. The formation of the Union National proves that there is a strong francophone population here in eCanada and they have proven that they are a strong voice in our nation. However, we have citizens from all nationalities and they are all welcome in our country and should feel at home. It is my hope to use our training wars and the arrival of V2 to try and bring our nation together once again.

That my friends, is what I plan to do with a term as your PM. While I do have other long term ideas, they are best left to a later date. I will be posting in game with slightly more detail however I wanted to get to you a general overview of my ideals. I welcome criticism as I know I am not perfect. Because of this fact I am putting together a team of cabinet members who excel in area’s I may not……… More on that to come soon.

Salutations à mes compatriotes eCanadien. C'est avec une grande fierté que je vous annonce aujourd'hui ma candidature officielle au poste de Premier Ministre du eCanada. J'ai eu le plaisir de servir notre nation durant différents termes au cours de presque une année d’existence dans eRépublik et je vous demande maintenant de me suivre dans une nouvelle ère alors que V2 approche.

V2 est près de nous et imposera des changements importants à chaque nation. Jouer ses points forts tout en évitant ses faiblesses sera la clé pour que l’eCanada garde une longueur d'avance sur ses ennemis potentiels.



Guerres d’entraînements


Les Forces Armées eCanadiennes sont un atout considérable pour notre nation. Ce qui nous manque en quantité nous le compensons en qualité. Nous avons déjà une force de frappe plus grande que d’autres nations comptant plus de citoyens actifs que nous et nous avons besoin de garder cet avantage. En préparation de V2, je propose l’abstention de nous engager dans toute guerre qui pourrait renverser l’avantage dont nous disposons. Je tiens plutôt à donner le temps à nos stratèges militaires de se familiariser avec les nouvelles méthodes de combat afin que nous puissions mieux planifier et assurer de futures victoires eCanadiènnes. Par contre, je veux organiser des guerres d’entraînement continues par alliance pour toujours développer les soldats et les citoyens.




Programme de promotions militaires


De nombreux militaires, hommes et femmes, s’approchent de leur rang suivant. Que ce soit le passage de général à maréchal ou de lieutenant à capitaine, chaque promotion apporte des capacités de combat accrues. Je propose un programme pour aider les militaires qui sont proches d'atteindre leur promotion de l’obtenir quelques jours plus tôt en leur fournissant des armes de meilleure qualité. Selon un système de pourcentage, chaque soldat actif pourra demander des armes pour se classer plus rapidement.


Répartition des forces militaires

Ce peut-être quelque chose auquel le haut commandement réfléchi déjà; je tiens à tenir une feuille de calcul où le haut commandement, les officiers, les soldats de haut rang et le reste des Forces pourront s’inscrire pour faire l’allocation des nouveaux rôles militaires. Nous devons être prêts à tout et un bon équilibre militaire entre les chars, les hélicoptères, l'artillerie et l'infanterie sera important. Je projette de superviser cela et j’encouragerai nos chefs militaires à prendre ce projet en main.



Répartition des sociétés d’états

Parlant de garder les choses en équilibres; le gouvernement doit tenir ses affaires en ordre lui aussi et veiller à ce que toutes les sociétés qui passeront par un changement de leur production dans V2 soient dirigés correctement pour assurer que nous maintiendront des inventaires suffisant de tout ce que nous aurons besoin. Par exemple, nos deux compagnies de cadeau ne doivent pas toutes deux devenir des producteurs de chars. Le Ministre de l’Industrie devra surveiller ces ressources de près durant les semaines à venir.



Contrôle des prix


Ceci est un point chaud et c'est très bien car, dans ce jeu, certains sont propriétaires d'entreprises et tous sont consommateurs. En constituant des stocks de marchandises et en les mettant sur le marché à prix fixes, le gouvernement peut aider à enrayer l'inflation et à maintenir le consommateur plus heureux et en meilleure santé. Tout le monde peut avoir un bon niveau de vie si nous consommons tous. Mais, quand les prix deviennent hors de contrôle, les consommateurs diminuent les achats et alors nous perdons tous de l'argent; que ce soit en salaire ou en profits.



Du travail pour tous



Nous devons assurer un bon marché de l’emploi afin que tous les citoyens qui ont choisi de vivre au eCanada puissent travailler et s'entraîner. Je comprends que les nouveaux citoyens ne sont pas les meilleurs producteurs au travail mais ils sont essentiels à la croissance de notre e-nation et à celle du jeu. Le gouvernement continuera de fournir des postes de niveau novice qui garderont les jeunes salariés eCanadiens intéressés et motivés. Le baby-boom est important et la rétention de la population l’est encore plus


Affaires étrangères

Je crois que nos concitoyens "brolliance" ainsi que les pays d’Eden sont nos alliés les plus importants et que nos relations avec eux est de la plus haute importance. Je crois aussi que nous devons forcer le respect de nos ennemis. Le Département des affaires étrangères assurera une bonne communication entre nous et le reste du eMonde



Stabilisation économique

Nous pouvons aider à garder nos entreprises exportatrices rentables en gardant le dollar stable. Je propose d’abaisser légèrement la valeur du dollar pour le rapprocher ou le mettre à égalité avec les pays de la "broliance" et nos alliés EDEN. Cela nous permettra de mieux tirer profit de notre titane et d’augmenter les exportations.



Protection du titane

Je crois à la protection de nos ressources et non pas à sa location. Nous ne louons pas les régions hautes en fer de la Grèce ou de l'Espagne, nous importons. Bien qu’une seule région haute en titane soit assez pour nos besoins domestiques, avoir le contrôle sur les deux nous met dans une position avantageuse pour l'exportation. Pour cette raison, je dis qu’il faut les garder et défendre ces régions ainsi que les revenus qu'elles vont nous fournir (sauf si l’Espagne veut faire un échange ... je plaisante).




Réserves stratégiques

Depuis ma dernière campagne contre l'ancien PM William Duncan, j'ai plaidé en faveur de la constitution d'une réserve de dollars et d'or en vue du passage à V2. Ceci a toujours besoin d'être fait. Nous devons être proactifs en ce sens pour donner la possibilité au gouvernement de réagir à toutes les situations qui se poseront en mai. À l'approche de V2, l'or sera acheté sur les marchés comme un investissement plus sûr que la monnaie. Si le gouvernement décidait d’en accumuler, cet or pourrait être utilisé à de multiples fins, certaines plus importantes que d'autres.





Unité Nationale et Inclusion

Les principes d’inclusion et d'unité ne sont pas nouveaux pour ceux et celles qui me connaissent et qui ont vu ma première campagne à la présidence. Mon eCanada inclut tout le monde et nous avons tous besoin de nos concitoyens pour être forts et prospères. La formation de l'Union Nationale prouve qu'il y a une population francophone importante au eCanada et ils ont montré qu'ils sont une voix forte. Cependant, nous avons des citoyens de toutes nationalités et ils sont tous les bienvenus dans notre pays et doivent se sentir chez eux. Mon espoir est d'utiliser les guerres d’entraînement, la formation et l'arrivée de la V2 pour essayer d'unir notre nation à nouveau.




Voilà ce que je projette de faire d’un mandat en tant que votre PM. Pour le plus long terme, j'ai d'autres idées que je garde pour plus tard. Je passerai des annonces dans le jeu pour donner plus de détails mais je voulais vous donner une vue d'ensemble de mes idéaux. J’accueillerai la critique avec ouverture car je sais que je ne suis pas parfait. C’est pour cela que je travaille à mettre sur pied une équipe de membres du Cabinet qui excellent dans les sujets où je suis moins compétent. Je ferai bientôt des annonces à ce sujet.
