Remember?
Remember when our regions were being stripped from us? When we only have a 40% bonus on food and a 20% bonus on weapons? When it looked like ONE would wipe us (for the second time)? Now I only ask: What happened? In less than a week the US kicked into full drive and began a long reclamation of its regions. Countries that seemed invincible like Poland and Serbia were getting their arse kicked by Canucks and Yanks. We regained all of our original regions albeit rather foolishly... **cough cough** idiots who liberated Michigan I'm looking at you. We steamrolled through Europe, liberated most of France and set off to Germany and then!!.... And then... And then what? We lost the battle for Hesse. Not only did we lose that battle... But our advance came to a grinding halt. Sure Germany liberated Hesse but Serbia (which has carved out an impressive empire in Southern Europe which strikingly resembles another empire we're all familiar with) blazed into Spain and attacked France. Our newly liberated ally was now in trouble. At the moment France, the Irish and the Canucks were busy wiping the Brits from the map and besides there's a long strip of American territory acting as a buffer between France and Serbia. So we attacked Aquitaine in an ill-fated attempt to buy France time to ready up its defenses. What happened? We lost that battle. Not only did we lose initiative in Polish occupied Germany, but now we also lost the initiative in Serbian controlled French Territory. We could lose our European Colonies which would translate to making it harder to supply forces which could transliterate into making it easier for Serbia to blitz the US.

Let's war game this:

So in a very bad case scenario, let's say Serbia cuts us off in Europe and wipes France. That leaves open waters for them to invade Virginia and all the lovely dirty East Coast states. Let' up thing a notch and say Poland can get back on its feet and actually direct damage into usefull battles instead of pwning the Dutch which don't have a large population to begin with. So if Poland can launch a successful invasion of Germany, it could try to invade the US and would have to find a way to jump the Atlantic pond. Serbia wiped France so the only way to jump the pool would be either though the Netherlands or the UK. While the Netherlands would be easier, a route thought the UK would fulfill the objective of liberating the Brits (considering they're still under occupation) and attacking the Irish. That leaves open waters for an invasion of Canada and the United States to support Serbia. That's danger for us and threatens Croatia's monopoly of Mexico. Hungary is a different story as it would have to burn through Croatia and might use Spain as jumping point just as Serbia used Spain as a jumping sport for entry into France.

The Verdict:
Considering all the factors involved, ONE has showed itself to be a pussycat when it's battle scripts aren't up. But the admins have showed time and time again that they obviously don't care about cheaters. Tread carefully America, as this invasion of Europe could backfire on us. Let then, all's fair in love and war. And let's be honest, this game is an inconsistent muddle of war and failure at politics. Look no further than ONE and Pizza the Hut for example. Idiotic jokes. End of the day, this is a game, America is still the greatest country in the world, and pathetic conservative ideals will never amount to anything except more conflict with Democrats. At least they came to their senses and approved that payroll tax extension.
