You lowered the work tax. Congratulations! Now you need to make it easier for trade to move to and from the U.S. SO lift trade embargo, try do persuade governments to take off import taxes.

You cannot lift a trade embargo in eRepublik. Once set, they last until they expire.

No problem. There's a lot to learn when you're just starting out. For mechanics stuff like that, the eRep wiki is a good place (though it is sometimes out of date with regard to newer changes).
