TOURNAMENT OVER

Goodevening fellow players,

A new tournament started today with many minor rewards and two main rewards.

Firstly, the minor rewards, such as:

- 10 energy bars
- 10 days free train
- 50% 8 hour boosters
- 5,000 cc to each player
- 50,000 cc to the MU

are not sufficient enough to encourage us to tank tens of thousands of gold in energy bars and hundreds of thousands of cc in weapons and food that could be better used in crucial battles in other days and weeks.

The two main rewards for this tournament are:

1. - to finish in the top 25 regiments worldwide to achieve ELITE MU status

and,

2. - to achieve certain PP thresholds as a regiment to get bazooka boosters for up to x75 damage.

Regarding the first reward, we are already an Elite MU so we have nothing extra to win. Regardless of this, we believe we could easily finish in the top 25 regiments worldwide doing our regular weekly damage without the need for excessive tanking.

Regarding the second reward, we were excited because with the x75 bazooka booster in combination with a damage booster would mean each hit would be like a small bomb. (Bazooka + 10% elite player bonus + 75x bazooka booster + 100% damage booster = 1,650,000 damage per hit). This insane amount of damage per hit would allow us to use the thousands of bazookas that most of us have in storage to rank up very quickly.



Today, after seeing the new weekly challenge and the energy recovery rewards given in it, we realized that the x75 bazooka booster would be almost impossible to achieve. We calculated that for a regiment with 50 people (such as us), and if nobody misses a single food fight, it will cost in total 75,000 gold as a MU to get this reward. This is far too expensive. However, we believed that as a regiment we could definitely achieve the x25 bazooka booster which is at 700,000 PP since only five hours into the tournament today we had already achieved almost 100,000 pp. Furthermore, we believe that as regiment we would also be able to achieve the x50 bazooka booster which is at 1,050,000 pp.

Due to the changes made to the bazooka rank after the tournament started and after many of our members tanked hundreds and thousands of gold, we decided as a MU to no longer continue hitting for this tournament. Frankly, there is no reward to motivate us.





Finally, as a MU we are upset for two main reasons:

1. Many members of ours yesterday spent hundreds of gold buying bazooka parts because they would get rank points with them. These bazookas are now useless to them and also to all other D4 players that bought them yesterday.

2. Many members of ours bought gold, dissolved factories, tanked hundreds of energy bars, consumed boosters and wasted CC on supplies that we could have used in other crucial battles before the rewards were changed. Once the rewards were changed, the tournament no longer interested us and as a military unit we immediately stopped consuming resources.

We now see no reason to continue in this tournament. We will continue with our regular food fights and the normal weekly damage we would do as if their was no tournament.

In the future, we will be very careful before choosing to partake in any tournaments and/or missions.
