Top 10 tips for new players

So you found this cool game called eRepublik recently and you'd like some tips?
Here are ten important tips for you!

1. Don't waste your money!
It's all right doing it later in the game, but never spend a ton of money on weapons or food. Instead you could sign up to the NHS to get food, or join the Royal Navy and get weapons as rewards.

2.Never waste your energy bars!
This is an important one for those who want to be good with warfare. So many people, including me, waste their energy bars on normal battles. Wait until a tournament or rewards come up! Then use your energy bars during tournaments and stuff to get rewards!

3.Never ever build a rocket factory!
I made this mistake, and this is a warning; never build a rocket factory! Rocket factories are stupidly expensive to build and run, you'll spend a few hundred pounds getting the stuff to make a rocket, and then you'll get nothing back. 50,000 damage is nothing for how much you spend on each rocket. Stick to weapons factories.

4.Don't run for congress too early!
Running for Congress prematurely can ruin your political career, or make it brilliant, although the first one's more likely. Before you run for congress, or anything for that matter, make sure you know about the game. If you ant to run for congress, then ask about the game, read up on it a bit, and then give it your best shot.

5.Don't fight too much!
You may think it's brave and cool to fight until your health is out, but it's not! If you're new you only need to fight 25 times a day! Any more and you'll be using all your food and weapons! Speaking of weapons...

6.Never fight without weapons!
Fighting without a weapon is pointless as the only thing it achieves is to deplete your health! Either build a weapons factory, buy a few weapons, or enter a raffle or prize winning thingy-ma-bob.

7.Don't buy weapons of mass destruction!
Plato may tempt you with discounts, but WMDs aren't going to help you very much. You might be able to buy a few small bombs, but more experienced players can buy loads of big bombs and more. Unless Plato's put somehting up like a 70% discount on WMDs then don't get them! Phew, only three more...

8.Join the forums!
The forums are a very good way to learn about eRep whilst you're getting better. Make sure you've got a profile on some forums so you can read about and comment on informative articles, and let yourself be known to the world before you take it on!

9.Don't be a two clicker!
This basically means you shouldn't just complete your daily orders, work and train. Just because your a newer player doesn't mean you can't take an active role in the community. Try and get an apprenticeship, write articles or even just talk to everyone! This'll all make you a more respected and well known player! And finally...

10.Stay active!
Make eRepublik a routine, even if it's just for ten minutes, go on and have fun! Too many players are joining and then forgetting about eRepublik these days, this is what people are talking about when they say that eRep is dying! So go and have fun on this fun game!
